Would you consider yourself a super Soaker?

Maaaybe not a "super" soaker, but i do enjoy myself pushing hard a 1v1 lane and then rotate for a pick/clear on mid. Thing is, people in gold dont know too much about double soaking, so mid is usually the most populated lane the entire game :/

On Lunara? For sure. Thing about Lunara is that, although she doesn't have a handy escape button, she can compensate for that with her wisp. Taking wisp at lvl 1 means the only reason you ever gt ganked while laning on Lunara is your own lack of map awareness, since you will ALWAYS see enemies coming before they can see you. Coupled with one of the strongest waveclears in the game and the lack of need to mount between lanes, it means Lunara is a very powerful laner who is underrated because none of her aspects is flashy. To be successful with her is to be one step ahead, and being one step ahead means you get value without either team understanding it.

I've actually been having success as a soaking Rehgar in QM. Lightning shield destroys a minion wave, ghost wolf gets you between lanes and out of ambushes. If an enemy is in lane you can drop a totem in the middle of a wave and give it a lightning shield. It's amazing how many people will just stand in it. With level 4 lightning shield talent, you'll also gain mana doing this and rarely ever run out. Rehgar is also a surprisingly effective counter to a Murky in lane, his auto attacks and wolf attacks can kill pufferfishes easily and your healing is stronger than his damage over time.

Ragnaros is mighty strong in double soak as well. And it mesh up well with his lvl 1 Q quest though require some practice.

i play mainly yrel and malthael, and i think yrel is better for double soaking because she has way better survivability and escapes AND its probably a waste to keep malthael away from doing camps where he is very good at - just comparing those 2..

This doesn’t work in low ranks like bronze.. why? Because your team dies so god damn much you can’t out soak the exp from their deaths

Naz, zag and abba. I honest like abba the most he can work well with most things if you learn all his talents and when to use. Other then that i tend to have good success with the other two because a lane clear is fast and you can get back to rotating.

Just hope your team doesn't give the enemy team 20 deaths each while you are double soaking, otherwise it was all in vain

YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T GET KYLE is they put rhykkers and what not on DIABLO for tips and tricks, but they won't put you or anyone else, to help implement the basics of the game...i just went through a game where everyoen stayed middle whole game...like why? we got down 3 levels...... then i tried to explain, and they muted me, so after i whispered them and sent this video..... then blocked them... like god man

I know Murky is in the melee assassin category, and not designated as Bruiser, or Support character, but he is capable of performing the double soak once he reaches level 4. Just curious if there was a reason he wasn't mentioned.

Why would you „smack“ a melee minion specifically? I often try to kill the archers first as I believe they do more damage, is that wrong? - Other than that, great video with important information. I for one like Greymane with his quick lane clear capabilities

This line of thinking applies to the concept of double soaking. You want your wave to die as fast as possible after you've cleared the path in order to burn the exp your enemies would like to get. Archers and Mage minions to greater damage than the Knights. So you let the enemy minions hit your own on the way to their structures so that they die faster to them. For your own waveclear speed it should not make a difference which minions you hit first (exceptions being specific spell rotations for some heroes but those mostly do not double soak). So you will, in theory, clear each wave as fast as you can while having your own wave as weak as possible so the enemy will have less time to grab their exp. This, of course, assumes that you are ahead in the double soak rotation because you want to deny your enemies as much exp as possible.
