I'm 60. I recently played this at a gig, some people my age were there, but there were a lot of youngsters in their 30s who had never heard this track. The place was rocked to its foundations when I put this on. Pure music.

I'm a songwriter and may be contributing some music for them. There seem to be plenty of music fans out there who are fed up of all the depressing dross these days so hopefully they can get behind us when we launch :-)

Oh God!!! This track was a pumping back in '89. Where did all the time go? Every Friday night, the nightclubs were playing this jam. The whole place was jammed pack, groovin' and a movin'. Sensational! That was a great time to be living.

He was on the way to the hospital to get his medication and got on the wrong bus so got off when he realised and was set on fire- totally evil and horrific

It was and remains kid-friendly, with a happy vibe and good underlying riddim. It's ever so slightly faster than I was expecting for 89. As rap, the flow's not amazing and the bars are weak as lemonade, but it's for kids, so I guess that's all good.

I met him in 87 at their studio before they had their hits, they were recording a lot of hiphop artists, I cant remember the location now but he was a nice guy, I remember him being the studio engineer and didnt appear to have a bad bone in his body so was shocked something like that would happen to him.
