Ssumday has actually been really good, I genuinely think Closer has been so horridly underwhelming this split it's sad. I also just feel like they are drafting like bitches and no one seems to be up to play forward. I could be wrong but listening to comms it is so dry and I rarely hear proactivity just reactions to what's happening, they need a dog player that for once isn't dlift late game hopium trying to do something while his team is giga pussy, which feels like the story of his career.

agreed, i think he is seen as the weakside tank player but this season he has been crushing it, lots of mechanical outplays like you said solokills. his teamfighting/positioning has been solid which arguably is the best part of his game, problem is the rest of the team feels like they have been behind

BG3 Early access is one of the only early access game that was not only worth it, but actually made the game better. Larian listened to feedback and worked out bugs and now that the release is upon us it’s probably the most anticipated CRPG ever

It's wild that Impact gets the "he's elo-helled" treatment, but Ssumday doesn't. Ssumday has been better this split than Impact while also on a bad team. In fact, the difference in wins between FLY and 100T is that 100T won both games against FLY in big part because Ssumday stomped Impact both games. But Ssumday has "done nothing" (you know despite having more solo kills than anyone in the league), and Impact is just elo-helled. I don't even disagree that Impact is elo-helled, he's been the only one on FLY that's looked human at times, but it's just insane to not give Ssumday the same benefit when he's been a bit better on a team that's a bit better.

Funny thing is Impact gets more ganks from Spica. All Impact is doing is either playing weak side tanks or Renekton. He goes even in lane. That's it. Nothing else. Like he isn't winning the game nor is he losing the game.

I've been having this thought for a while but the flaw in franchising is that no team has been able to brand themselves by anything except winning and I guess not winning. You'd assume that since a game like league has so many champions that someone would be good enough at something niche to use it as a curve ball but that basically just never happens in league. Like where's the next iteration of Huhi A-Sol

They still exists, its just rare. The big one that I can think of is Bjergsen and Jensen's Zilean. And then you have Huhi's Sett support. Impact probably has Shen and Singed, granted I don't think he has played them in a while, I don't think Shen was meta when he last played it and Singed was never meta when he has played that.

Cloud 9 looks like our best team once again but look way different then they did in spring.Probably end 14-4 which was the same as last spring but feels like they took a different path to get here

C9 have changed how they play since MSI, less early game focus and more forwards scaling/team fighting and macro. And pretty much all their losses this split are from terrible draft or a misplay in early game

@@wriggs21 sadly pessimistic but c9 at this point is like mad lions in EU, in that they do good regionally, maybe even dominate (c9 is probably better on that part), but another regional team always does better at worlds. they're so damn disappointing internationally, post 2018. i've basically given up on them. maybe with this new format, they'll do better

The TL narrative is a little weird when they have beat every top team, including C9 this week. I think they have clearly improved their mid/late game the last week or two and are looking super hot going into playoffs.

They have also lost to a number of teams outside of the top, like losing to TSM the same week they beat C9 and off the back of similar issues they showed even in the C9 win - a strong early game to get them in the driver's seat but then some shaky driving in the midgame when actually behind the wheel. They have obviously improved from spring because they have at least been able to actually convert these early game leads into wins finally, but similar issues with closing out off the back of a good early game is still holding them back from truly claiming an undisputed top spot beyond any narrative; it's literally cost them key games that would have put them in the contest for top 2 this split.

They have for sure improved a lot, but I do think if an opportunity arises to beat them it 9times out of10 comes from them griefing a mid/late game play and though they've done well against C9 and top team, I wonder how they'll look in a bo5 especially b/c C9/GG often skill checks teams the hardest in mid-late game so I'm curious to see what will happen.

It’s expectations versus results. They aren’t a bad team but they aren’t as good as most people expected. They’re mid and late game has looked really disjointed at times. Also any time summit is on your team, all bets are off. He’s been good lately but you never know when he’s gonna decide to just teleport into 5 people and die. Lol

It's because they really love forcing this narrative that DL is 1v9 when in reality 100T has prio pick in draft a strong 2v2 bot lane that loses 2v2 and gets every resources including jungle attention nad lane resources. DL does nothing at all in team fight. No clue where this elo hell narrative is coming from. If any ADC is elo hell it's Gumyusi since Keria/Polt/Oner have taken turns running it down while Guma is 1v9 (sometime Zeus is a human).

Who tf uses bg3 as a talking point for why early access is bad. They gave us like 15 pct of the game to playtest as they slowly added and worked on things over the last 3 years. Yeah you pay for the whole game, but you literally were going to buy it anyway, you're getting it 28 days early, and if you paid for early access, you get upgraded to the digital deluxe version (just a little extra digital content.) Larian studios actually clears 90 pct of studios. Also for those that don't know, people averaged about 30-40 hours on early access, which is about 60 pct of act 1, which is about 25 pct of the game, and that doesn't take into account variety, as playthroughs will vary depending on class and race as well as difficulty and thoroughness

Hey guys, I have criticism for C9 for y'all. Zven is very underwhelming, I dont know why people keep saying hes playing well just because Berserker is popping off. Zven does legit not much while sometimes just inting. Blaber is good, ez mvp Berserker is good, ez 2nd mvp Fudge is struggling and seems like he has a big ego now despite getting trashed internationally, wont play anything he wants to in toplane. Emenes is still a bit flippy and also seems to have a big ego that will make him int at worlds. They still struggle to execute dives consistently, they dont trade or crossmap enough instead of stupidly trying to contest when they obv cant. Tracking enemy jg seems to be nonexistant lately too. (Im a c9 fan since the 2015? Gauntlet run to worlds, watch every game)

I understand you guys like to be positive but should limit how many people you say “deserve to be in/ get another shot in the league”. Players like Haeri and Tactical are bottom 3 in their role, even with them “playing well”. If you are a team, and naturally you are trying to compete in the league, it makes no sense to give a chance to someone you have seen be around bottom 3 in their role, especially players we have seen be bad for some period of time like Tactical and Haeri.
