Love this video however I wish that it would be more step by step and explain how everything would work. I appreciate the content and thank you for being so open to sharing. We are expecting our first English bulldog litter and a bit nervous about it. These videos help.

Amazing video thank you so much this is the best that I have seen. I volunteer with rescue and really need a incubator for my sick neonates. This is the best diy that I have found because they are so expensive and duty to canada is crazy. I know that you said a blade cut the holes but do you mean like a jig saw blade? Box cutter? You got your so round, I find it hard to cut. Can you please please link the parts that you used? Also, as great as this video was a step by step speeded up would be really appreciated and I am not good at stuff like this but with a bit more details I think I could do this and help a lot more kittens. :)

This would not keep the heat for neonates kittens , you would have to use a heat pad also . Or invest in a proper one. If you went this way definitely need a hole for a nebuliser also .

What Temperature should I have it on ?? Because I know right under the lamp is hotter then what it is adjusted to . I put it at 85 Fahrenheit , but I used a temp gun right under the lamp and it’s reading 90-95 Fahrenheit
@gigicolaiacovo91533 жыл бұрын
I just built one of these, thank you! I’m confused on how the ink bird works though. Assuming the lamp and humidifier get plugged into it but what happens with the fan? What should temperature and humidity be set to? Is it always on? Checked all comments and didn’t see an answer for this. Thanks!

I have same question did u figure it out
@billattencion65682 жыл бұрын
The fan is always on for circulation. The temp should be in between 85-90 degrees and the humidity level should be in between 40-60% target around 50%. I’m expecting my first litter of frenchies and I’m in the process of building an incubator along with all the specs. If you have any questions or want to keep up with us we’ll be creating a page, for now follow us on ig @LeFrenchConnexion

What power if bulb do you think is best 75 100 etc?

I read all the comments and he said it doesn't matter because you have the temperature control that turns the lamp on and off. I personally am using a 50watt and 75watt. I am terrified of cooking the pumps
