Keep your humidifier setting on about 1/3 so it never gets to high. It will correct itself

We've attempted to build this incubator. We even bought almost all the same materials in this video before I happened to find it tonight. I'm needing to know what bulb wattage to get. We got a 25W infrared bulb & we can't get the temp above 85 degrees. We've lined the entire box with insulation and still can't get it warm enough. Also, do the kittens need some way to get out of the heat if they get too hot? This is why we got the lower wattage bulb, was so the kittens wouldn't get too hot under the lamp. I'm also concerned with how bright it is. Do you recommend a heating coil bulb that doesn't put off any light? I've also heard conflicting information regarding the fan. Some sources say to have it direct air outwards so that it pulls out the CO2 without blowing outside air on the kittens, especially with them in humidity. Wondered what your thoughts were.

If you want more heat & less light you can use a larger watt ceramic heat lamp. The fan should already be pulling the hot air out when it goes above set temperature.

You connect it to the temperature controller and it pulls it out when it reach the max temperature setting u set it to. You have to program your temperature controller. Probably why you can’t get it hot as you want
