I always say this but for as hit or miss as Dreamworks can be, like any studio, when they hit (the first 2 Shrek movies, the first 2 Kung Fu Panda movies, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Prince of Egypt) they not only drop bangers, but like rivals some of Disney and Pixar’s best, even sometimes topping them in my eyes. Looking forward to seeing the movie!

Was anybody else disappointed in that second trailer? The first one was so much more impactful not having any of these characters talk It would have been better if they just made this a silent film, it would be daring
@michaelstrong53832 ай бұрын
I was more disappointed with the dialogue in the second trailer than I was with the fact that there was a cast. The recent trailer that was released a few weeks ago won me back, though. If you want an animated movie with a robot and animals that has no dialogue in it whatsoever, I highly recommend "Robot Dreams"
@davidker88202 ай бұрын
I fully respect that view, because it is one I held for the longest time… until I actually saw the movie. Not only is the dialogue heartfelt and funny, but a lot of the conflict in the second half or so (at an estimate; I wasn’t timing it) is actually based around regrets around what is said or left unsaid. It would be very, very hard to make this story work without dialogue. It might turn out to be possible, and I’m sure someone will try to do a dialogue-free edit, but it would be an immense challenge at best.

99% of the time the book will always be better ! Because whomever reads the book it's how their mind takes what they just read. No one but u can put that on a screen. So no movie or TV show will ever match what u personally read.
