This movie is the prime example of Sony’s operations with the Spider-Man license. These live action spin off movies are only here to prolong their grip on the license because Spider-Verse and the MCU aren’t enough. Also, the fact that the Morbius writers also wrote this and clearly didn’t learn a thing from Morbius is clear as day. The cast themselves clearly didn’t want anything to do with this movie and where tricked into joining and thus phoned in their performance, especially Dakota and the actor playing Ezekiel. And the note Spider-Man references clearly put the cherry on top of this shite sundae. Easily the worst of the year so far for me.

@lutherheggs4516 ай бұрын
It had nothing to do with the rights. The 3 MCU Spider-man movies are Sony movies, and made them billions upon billions. 2 Oscar nominated Spider-Verse movies, 2 Venom movies that performed well and Venom 3 has been in production for awhile. People really need to learn about the deal before they start claiming things, because Sony doesn't get money when he makes an appearance in an MCU film. They only get the money for the solo films and they pay for the production of those films. They didn't get money for Civil War, Infinity War or Endgame.

Had this movie on earlier today. Put me to sleep three separate times. I had to keep standing up and walk around like I was on the job just to make it through this one.

And it's co-written by the director and the same writers as morbius which show's sony does not give a damn. Not only that so many wasted actresses that could have been in better future comic movies

There was concept art from the movie that revealed that Spider-Man was initially suppose to BE in this movie. They had a concept suit designed and everything. And the suit actually looks cool. But in hindsight, I'm glad he wasn't actually in this movie.

The movie actually got the way Uncle Ben is Peter's uncle wrong Ben is supposed to be the uncle to Peter from The Father's Side that's his brother so she should actually be the sister-in-law not the actual sister of Uncle Ben it's like they didn't even bother to pick up a comic book for this movie

Cory and Martin, your underselling just how bad this thing really was. You have to really realise and fully form within your mind, Just how bad this thing really was. The truck driving into the ambulance scene, look where the truck was heading towards 🤦😂. Its an absolute embarrassment. The Subway scene when evil Spider-Man has the 3 girls cornered, and he instead kills the cops. Then proceeds to go up to the rooftop and ask his secretary how did they get away? 😳 The very ending, with Dakota Johnson in a wheelchair looking ridiculous as hell. it was an absolute embarrassment. "You know the best thing about the Future? It hasn't Happened yet". In real Life Human Terms, this Quote it completely Pointless and Doesn't make sense. In the Context of the Superhero Madame Web and Her Powers, whether a good or bad event is about to happen, the quote sort of works (for the bad events Because she can avert them) and then is completely stupid for the good Events 😮🤦🏻 Really realise what she's saying here and process this through your mind. In real life human terms, The Best part about the future is that it hasn't happened yet? So when Great things are going to happen to us in the future, that's the best part? And when they actually happen for us, that's not the actual best part? 🤔🤭 An utter disgrace of a film.

Wasn't there a moment where Madame Web crashed an ambulance through a tall building, and evil Spider-Man just.......jumped right into it for no reason?

It's disrespectful because all these sony movies need Spider-man and sony is so hard headed they continue to put out these awful right's placeholders.

This movie had an 80-100 million dollar budget, that's about the same budget for The Creator, and more than Godzilla Minus One, The Creator might have failed because of the writing, but at least the money was put to use. Your telling me THIS is the best you can do Sony?!

I watched it and heard it was a bad film, but I think I watched the worst superhero movie ever. I heard Morbius was bad, and watched it and it wasn’t great, but not terrible. But Madame Web took me 5 sittings to watch it, as I fell asleep 3 times during it and had to cut it off once as it was so boring. Nothing like the source material, bad acting and dialogue, not much action and next to no superheroes in the movie. They have stretched out a one act for the entire movie in an origin story. So you basically spend the whole movie with the main character discovering her powers and you see her as the hero in the last few seconds of the movie. Be careful as Sony are giving copyright strikes to videos mocking the movie.

Could you imagine the riffs they could make in Deadpool about this movie? DP: “Althea… are you… Madam Web?” A: “The fuck, do I look like Dakota Johnson to you?” DP: “Oh thank G~od. I don’t think my movie would ever recover from Sony Pictures.”
