I remember seeing this in the drive-thru theatre when I was a child and loved it, I remember seeing trailers and stuff boasting about how one person was playing multiple characters and thought it would be hilarious. Despite not remembering much from it afterwards I loved it as a kid. Looking at it as an adult, I feel embarrassed as hell for my young self. This shit is borderline unwatchable

You should be more embarrassed for trying to appear so "mature" and adult now by rejecting goofy humor, that is really the pathetic thing, not what you did as a kid

A "drive thru" theater would be the only way to see this movie! Just keep on driving through 😂

Watch the whole video later. Did find this movie a little hilarious. The Turtle Guy and the Who's Your Daddy moments are the highlights. Era around 2000-2003 there was a ton of what most would consider bad movies. Used to work at a discount movie theatre where I've caught a lot of those so called bad movies.

And most of them are faaar better than the so called "good" movies of these times, the superhero trash, and avatar 2 and Barbie, and all this fkin TRASH

I laughed like hell when martin said "I found a pathway; we can crawl through here and get to- a dead end". this line almost perfectly describes the setup and payoffs of all the so-called jokes in this movie. Thank you Martin

21:06 - Data, no!! They looked like they recycled makeup, from that one time we see Data with a beard. He looks like a reject Bond villain; another reason why this movie sucked.

Yeah this didn't work at all,and Brent Spined baby what was you doing?! I use to clown on Carvey for not blowing up like Meyers did but I found about his health issues and felt bad, his show started a lot of big names now

I remember this movie back in the day. I had the VHS tape. I tried watching it I was like 8 years old. I couldn't finish it. Even as a kid I knew it was terrible. 8 year old me hated this movie.

I saw this movie when it came out and the only thing I remembered about it is Brent Spiner. Just like with a lot of these movies, like It's Pat, there is at least one memorable character. Dana Carvey recently lost his son. It was sad to hear, especially since he's dealt with a lot of pain in his life. I'll keep holding onto the positive memories he's given me in my childhood and teen years.

28:05 The bizarre and tragic irony of that is that the scene was apparently filmed on 09/11/01.

Clean Slate is definitely Memento as a dumb comedy. haha But in fairness, it wasn't Dana Carvey's first flop. Opportunity Knocks was his first flop, four years earlier. Staple of 90s basic cable, though.

Dana's first role was in Halloween II, and he managed to be in it briefly enough to survive. Can't we just remember him that way? All young and not stabbed to death.

I remember in elementary everyone was quoting this movie. Especially the turtle part. I remember watching it and not really caring for it. I didn't hate it or anything but it wasn't that great

My late brother used to always say "Turtle Turtle!" and we would groan and chuckle because he actually sat and watched this movie. Because of that it has a warm spot in my heart although I can't even stand 10 seconds of this movie.

I was one of those kids quoting the turtle scene and still am. Literally quoted the turtle bit at work the other day to my coworkers. We laughed. All was good.
