Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was said to be the thing that brought Skateboarding back into popularity. Even I, a non skateboarder, loved the game when I got it in 2000 at a random warehouse sale or whatever it was called. I'm grateful to Neversoft for the memories. I'm also grateful that this thing didn't shove Skateboarding back into obscurity.

I still vividly remember Panpizzas review of this movie almost 9 years back and the design history of this movie was nuts. Like they tried everything from steampunk to WW2 partisans with skateboarding before settling on just a modern day tone almost a year into production or something.
