Honestly Ultron didn't seem too much of a threat tbh. Plus i thought he was defeated way too easily. The Hulkbuster vs Hulk fight was was amazing but i hated the ending to the fight. (I'm a Hulk fanboy probably why haha).

After Cap 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy I felt as if Marvel had taken a huge leap forward with their story telling and comedic timing. But with AOU it feels like they took a step back.A lot of things in this movie felt rushed, especially the parts with Ultron and the Vision. I'm kind of glad Whedon isn't directing the third one because it feels as if Marvel has evolved passed his capabilities in story telling. I hope the Russo's can establish a more serious tone with Infinity War. Its still a good popcorn flick but no where near the masterpiece people are making it out to be. Its a matinee at best.

My issue with this film: - Just like the last Avengers movie, it was that it's too jokey at times. Something serious is happening and they keep cracking jokes (like when Hulk murdered some people and Tony is going "ooopsie" a minute or so after, really?). - Everyone is in love with Ultron, and although he was good I still found his personality annoying and, again, cracking jokes all the time (and half of his jokes fall flat). - For a super intelligent AI, he didn't act like one. - Big chunks of the movie seem to be missing (though to be fair I'm sure it can be explained by the hour that was cutoff). - Some parts didn't mash with the overall MCU storylines (Tony Stark is Iron Man here with no explanation, even though in IM3 he gave up being Iron Man) - Typical superhero clitches like not killing the hero when s/he is captured, things that could've easily been avoided but weren't because...script, etc. 8/10 for me. I know I'm criticizing it a bit but overall I did have fun, I just needed to point out some things that I wasn't in love with as the movie is getting praised like crazy. It's a superhero film sure, but that shouldn't excuse it from critiques that other genres (or less hyped movies) would be pointed out.

Captain Matinee RETURNS!!!! Personally this movie was everything I wanted. The first one was okay but after watching it around forty times I really felt like it wasn't the greatest film. The middle dragged on and the pointless death at the end with agent Coulson wasn't anything that should have moved any of them. The people being attacked in NYC should have been the moment in which the Avengers sprung into action. This movie had a much better enemy and one that actually had a plan that would have worked. Leaving the Avengers unable to have stopped it without having to use their heads where as in the first one it was pretty obvious how they should stop it and did. This one of course had its moments but it was nice to see that Coulson wasn't the glue but Hawkeye was and we see that he was the only person who could hold it all together. All the others in the first one besides the Hulk/ Banner were pre-Madonnas looking for their fifteen minutes. Here There was none of that and you had such good character development pieces without giving you too much. People said they wanted a Black Widow Origin story, they got one in the span of ten minutes that explained more than any of the others could in such a short amount of time. Again this movie had those slow moments, every film does no matter how good or bad it is but it still had more in terms of story, a villainous plan, and ramping up to Cap 3 and Infinity Wars.

Stop bitching about the so called Marvel bias! Fact is DCEU is fucking up with the heroes. They turned Superman into a Justice Lord with Man of Steel. BVS is garbage with a Enforcer Superman vs a Batman that brands criminals like they are cows. Also the worse Lex Luthor ever!! Doomsday looked as bad as Galactus from Rise of the Silver Surfer and Deadpool from X-Origins. Wonder Woman was good but she felt forced and tacked on in that movie. Really their best is Wonder Woman but even that is overrated and has its problems. The Amazons didn't deflect bullets on their Island during the first fight. We didn't see bullet deflecting till Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor gets attacked in that alley. The villains in Wonder Woman were weak. Giving Wonder Woman her own Howling Commandos? Really? Everyone is acting like those three are more interesting than Dum Dum Dugan and the rest of Capt's Commandos. That is such Bull. The French guy and the Native American were the most interesting ones. That sharp shooter was OK but only comic relief really. The chemistry between Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman was good but Capt and Peggy Carter had better chemistry. Wonder Woman was good because it had a little of a Donner touch thanks to Patty Jenkins.

Avengers: Age of Ultron: Positives: great chemistry from the cast; great performances from James Spader as Ultron, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as The Vision; well done visual effects, fun action sequences and great fight scenes. Negatives: When Ultron becomes evil. When Ultron activates (and I mean Tony Stark finished programming him and he just turned on), He just starts looking up what humans did in the past, and then he turns on the Avengers. That's it. That felt rushed. Mixed: The foreshadowing to future events. I wanna say they're marketing the later movies, then again, it also foreshadowing what gonna happen to these characters and reveals their pasts. Final Verdict: 9.9/10 I highly recommend it.

8/10 for me Couldn't give two shits about the widow-hulk romance, but it kept on going and going for far too long. Hawkeye's part was a nice gesture from Marvel because he was barely into Avengers 1 but I feel pretty much the same about his story arc. However he delivered great lines towards the end. Ultron felt more like a looney tunes kind of villain rather than this cold menacing AI. He was always cracking jokes for Christ's sake. I don't say that I didn't laugh. I did, like 9 times out of 10, like a maniac but I mean he was never a threat in my opinion despite him uploading himself in other Ultron bots making him virtually immortal. The final showdown although really epic in terms of camera angles which made it look like it was ripped straight from a comic book double page, was lazy: an alien army in Avengers 1, a robot army in avengers 2. I mean really? What did work for me was the team dynamic and the humor. Boy I laughed throughout the whole movie and the team felt like a basket ball team, they were using formations, combos, etc. This was heroic stuff right there. Something I wish DC is taking notes from for the Justice League. The action scenes were once again top notch especially the opening scene I mean my jaw was on the floor the whole sequence. I had some kind of fatigue towards the end because I've seen this already with the Chitauri. In the end Avengers 2 is a great movie, they couldn't rely on the novelty anymore so it had a weaker impact on me when compared to the first time I saw Avengers 1 but it's a better movie. Iron Man 1, Guardians and The Winter Soldier are still my favorite MCU movies to date.

I agreed with most of what they said. The last 1/2 hour or so did bring down what was an amazing first 2 hours. I would have liked to have seen a more climactic ending. I also agree that it was more or less a feature length setup to the Civil war movie that is coming soon.

Scarlett Johansson was pregnant during filming, so many of her scenes were scheduled early in filming before she began to show. To help hide her pregnancy later in filming, three stunt doubles were hired. This caused a lot of confusion amongst the other actors since, according to them, all of the stunt women looked very similar to Johansson. Chris Evans stated that it got to the point where he would say hello and start a conversation with one of them only to realize midway that the person he was talking to wasn't Johansson. Ultimately, some scenes used CGI to hide Johansson's belly

Age of Ultron was too vast for my liking. Lots of different focuses and buildups to other plots. I prefer more focused plots so that intimate details can be revealed. After they went to Africa I forgot Ultron was even involved. Ultron seemed so small at the end that Captain America could fight Ultron on top of a truck. Why? Ultron could just grab Capt and drop him from high in the air. And y'all leave Korey's muffin alone. I don't see Martin and Tommy walking in there with tight shirts on.
