i once had a "Subwoofer" that looked like that LG woofer and the thing is it was 10W 4Ω but i was getting max excursion out of it with its 10W amplifier weird

Should try replacing the speakers with one from parts express to see if sounds any better. Did that with a cheap 2.1 computer speaker that sounded terrible and it sound a lot better.
