Does require design Doubly beam where beam section occurs Hogging moment at the support or cantilever beam?
@Bobby142212342 жыл бұрын
Dr El-Gamal, would you be able to make a video regarding the beam? Thanks.

Is all section are doubly reinforced for lateral loads ???
@MrElgamal772 жыл бұрын
As all beams should have top and bottom reinforcement, they are doubly reinforced sections. In some cases, we do not need compression steel but in reality, we use compression steel for hangers and for shrinkage and temperature changes.

why Ast bottom need to add compression steel area at the top?
@gerazofficial8 ай бұрын
Don't entirely understand but I know it comes from substituting everything in the equilibrium equation and making Ast subject...Fst=Fsc +Fcc hope you can figure it out from there,coz I don't get how 'fsc' in (fsc×A'st) dissappear
