FR.Solanus in1936 brought healing for my mother thru Our Lord.She was 5 years old,burned 80% of her body 3rd degree.The story is quite involved.He told my Grandmother & her friend they had to go to mass everyday & take communion,but first they had make a true & honest confession.After many weeks my mother was healed not a scare on her body.Praise God.

I graduated college in TN and planned to stay there. I had been hurt as a teen by a Baptist congregation and had walked away from God. I was happy in TN with my life as it was. Well…man plans and God laughs. I applied for hundreds of jobs in TN and every door slammed shut. I applied for one job in VT and was immediately accepted. I was mad for a good while. Because I wanted to be in TN. Five years into moving here God led me to a church and back to Christianity. I am so thankful. There was a plan. I just could not see it. I still struggle sometimes. I do not understand why God does not heal my chronic headaches. But, I know God is there and I am working through it.

my family experienced abuse from a priest who also happened to be my uncle - i never lost my faith in God but did fall away from the church for a few years but by the grace of God i have returned with an even stronger faith. unfortunately my boys lost both their faith in God and the church and have the same questions you have mentioned - “where is God in this? Why does He allow this?” I pray for their conversation to St Monica and St Augustine’s intercession and believe they will return. I also know that through the devastation of the event, my then 17 year old son’s disclosure gave other men who had been abused for many, many years before, the strength and courage to come forward and begin their healing and my uncle had to finally face his crimes - current and past - in court. i consider my son a “sacrificial lamb“ so to speak who may have brought peace to people’s lives he never knew. We have to look at difficult situations and see where God wants us to make good out of it - that’s our purpose. and most of all we have to love God and each other and have faith in His plan.

Off the record, a rosary crucifix you presented as having "the crown of thorns" represented around the crux was, in fact The Fr. Emil Kapaun crucifix. He had fashioned a cross out of nails, wire, etc. found in his cell for his fellow captured soldiers. The "circle" is to represent the barbed wire surrounding the camp. We are praying for his Sainthood. He was from Pilsen, Kansas. Thank you!! 🙏🏻

I visited my husband’s grave shortly after his death. I was full of anger and doubt. I was crying and I spoke out loud, “if only I knew you were okay” “if only I knew”! I looked up and the winter sky was completely clear and out of the blue … a very detailed snowflake …spiraled down right in front of me! I instantly knew he was with God and all was good!
