I had the wonderful opportunity to meet James Burton and his Family in Shreveport LA back in the mid 90's. James Burton's Rock and Roll Cafe. I still have an old copy of his food meno and autobiography. Amazing hospitable Louisiana people and great music. I also have an autographed picture from James. James wrote the famous song "Suzie Q" when he was a teenager. Cheers !! God bless !

Judy me too!!! My girlfriends and I had some real rockin' nights in Seattle at Parkers Ballroom/The Aquarius back in the day. We partied many times there when Doug Kershaw played. Oh man how astonishingly incredible he was to watch and he was so unbelievably phenomenal on that fiddle. He always made certain that everyone had a tremendous time and made sure everyone rocked their socks off😊!!! We'd go there all the time and I am so grateful to that venue for giving us the opportunity to experience so many performances of some of the greatest of some of the all-time GREATS; especially since it was a club setting and there was dancing and so unlike a concert setting - it made it so much more fun and AWESOME!!! We were so incredibly fortunate to regularly see some of the stars such as the atonishing B.B. King (he WAS the King!!!), Chuck Berry, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Elvin Bishop, John Mayall, Heart, Buddy Rich, Randy Hansen, Johnny Winters and others. Then there were all the musicians that played there that I wasn't lucky enough to see but who made it really big such as Aerosmith, Bread, Muddy Waters, Warren Zevon, Badfinger, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Edgar Winter, Buffalo Springfield, Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys, Tina Turner, Blue Oyster Cult and so many, many more!!! I wish I had seen them all. And to think all those musicians I just named don't even take into consideration all the exceptionally outstanding local bands and musicians that played there from our Seattle area such as Blue Sky, Big Horn, Yes, Stella & The Back Porch Revue (whom all I was blessed to see many, many times) who were so talented and a real treat to see on a regular basis. I'm so pleased I grew up when and where I did...SEATTLE IS where the MUSIC IS AT and always has been💕. Those were indeed "the days my friend" and I will treasure them always!!!
