Your shorts a mesmerizing for real. I haven't tried magic or card tricks since I kid in the 90's but I'm gonna learn this while I get over my broken ankle. Also reading all these comments from people is a super cool rarity in its wholesomeness.

The fact that this is now available for free on KZbin, with description by the creator is a travesty. It is too good! If you are a young card guy starting off, learn this and study it for its AMAZING construction and use of subtle convincers. Bought your book when I was 20, the trick is still a crusher. Thanks Doug.

I have Built to Last on the projector and I have learned this and I have performed it for people. It is met with confusion and amusement. I love it. I also have the pdf of the book but during the last live it was discussed if you would do a reprint with the understanding of the individual that assisted you has sadly passed. If the project does make it to the forefront of possibility you could use kickstarter to help raise the funds. In the meantime I am looking for a hard copy. Thanks Doug!! Stay Awesome!!

I performed this last night for a friend. He was very impressed! I'm quite happy with my handling now however it's not ideal that I handle cards like a lefty in general but when it comes to the over hand shuffle, I'm a righty! The transitions are a little rocky that's all. Il figure it out!

The trick is nice, the skill and mastered technique is what is impressive. The trick would never work with a bland or boring magician. The execution and showmanship by you is what is so enjoyable. Number one rule in being a magician is only show the audience what they need to know. Number one rule of the audience...remember you are there to be entertained. Number on rule of the skeptic is to question what the magician isn’t showing you.

Oh man. So sweet. Doug, I've been working on this wonderful routine for three days! Ova and Ova! Like an OCD Drill Session, lol. This is just fantastic! This is the definition of commercial magic. Having performed Chicago Opener for 30+ years I know how strong a color change can be. But this is just over the top? You built something really special here. And the subtleties and handling are perfect. It's perfect, damnit! It's so pretty I can't look directly at it. Thank you, Captain Busker!

I had a look now at your fifth presentation. Everytime I saw it (first on Aaron Fishers Club, then I bought your DVD, I read the book instructions, I saw it on Reel Magic Magazine and now I see it here on youtube). It's amazing. You're still honing it and provide some useful tips and how to handle the deck. It's brilliant. I think we're all learning a lot here from you. Why is your book not on sale in your online shop Doug? I'd like to support your work!
