100% agree on the new NSX. That car is INCREDIBLY underrated. I rode in one recently and it's truly an astonishing car, mixing exceptional handling with surprising ride comfort, blistering performance in a V6 plug-in hybrid, and excellent looks (particularly in red) that somehow blend in with the crowd anyway. The whole car is a marriage of opposites, and it's very much underappreaciated in the market.

i just will never support the move away from manual transmissions. idc how good pdk’s are, dct’s etc manuals give you a feeling of connection that cannot be replicated and manuals are just so much more fun.

I’m surprised none of the three of them said the 2023 Audi R8 GT. It’s the end of the run for the R8 and it’s their top of the line R8. Also the end of Audi’s naturally aspirated V10.

Great choice of the E63S! However, 2 corrections: 1. 2023 E63S is available in both wagon and sedan form as FINAL EDITION V8 TT. I am taking delivery of my wagon next week. The US is getting about 400 copies I think. 2. Next gen E63 power train has been announced already: straight 6 TT with a Hybrid.

How about the Audi RS6? Last V8 from Audi (they already said the next one will be electric).
@timmietz Жыл бұрын
@@alejandronasio7751 so, the RS6 performance is not for sale in the US, yet. Regular RS6 was a bit of a disappointment for me, personally. I like the way E63S handles and sounds a lot more that the RS6. As me again next year when the RS6 Performance comes to the US.
@alejo3076 Жыл бұрын
@@timmietz I daily an RS6, I'm stating that so you know that I'm a bit biased. I agree on that the RS6 could have been done a bit more aggressive. I have no idea why Audi, knowing already what their direct competition was doing went a few HP lower and a bit less noise. It's not like they couldn't, the URUS has the same engine and it has 657HP and it sounds amazing! But the handling, I think is better on the RS. I only drove the E63S a few times and to me the RS handles nicer with the 4-wheel steering. On the RS mode it's amazing and in auto or confort, it feels like an S-Class. I agree with you that maybe the Audi performance might be the one to have, for now though, I'm tuning mine, new inlet, new exhaust and I got a killer ride! (no warranty though) LOL

Zero mention of the R8, specially the R8 GT which is the last V10 R8 and one of the few RWDs ever. Only 333 in the world.

New M2 looks amazing and I don’t like bimmers at all. Sorry but anything with fender flares and a 6 speed in 2023 is bad ass in my book.
@PcarNess Жыл бұрын
I think the m2 styling will be far more iconic than the new m3 and m4. I think the blocky/Lego design will age well.

I take back questioning Doug’s evolution of the content. Adding Keenan an Alanis are 100% legitimate and I love seeing them agree and contest Doug’s views in this video. I’m on team car dorks and the more on our team the better! Well done Doug

People need to stop talking about how “everything’s going electric sooner than we think.” The internal combustion engine isn’t going anywhere for a long time. It can’t and it won’t. Do some research. GM just announced their plan to expand their D-MAX plant. If everything was going electric tomorrow like everyone seems to think, they wouldn’t have done that.

Since you brought up color, which is a issue that I have discussed for a long time, I'd be interested in hearing you discuss this more. I talked with a person who was a brand manager at Chrysler and asked why there are so many black, white and silver cars sold. He said that it was because those are the colors that people want. I countered with the idea that most people purchase their vehicles out of dealer stock, and black, white and silver vehicles are what dealers order, so that is what people purchase. Other than my first car that was purchased out of dealer stock in 1985, I have since always ordered my vehicles so that I can get them the way I want them, including an interesting color. My current Wrangler is Commando Green (a color people either love or hate). The previous Jeep was Cactus Green. I currently own a Plum Crazy purple Challenger, and we had a Toxic Orange Charger. We only had three black cars (I dislike black cars, but my wife likes them.)

Because it's safe. People buying new cars think about resale value. Most people don't want cars with vibrant color, they think it makes them easy target for car jack or getting pulled over, which may or may not be true.

Some other cars I feel will become valuable/collectible are the F-150 RAPTOR & RAPTOR-R, the Bronco Raptor, and the TRX. The combination of big engine supercharged power and big off-road trucks will make for amazing collectors cars in the future.
@o0260o Жыл бұрын
Unless those types of cars get banned for some reason... I don't think so. There will be another faster and better version and they will sell a bunch because that's where the market is

Nah, light trucks are not subjective to emission standards. Only big engines in cars will be gone. American will always find a way to put big engines in their trucks.

They won't be collected because there's too many of them around. Like millions in the US
