@@tylerbecker3348I only have so much time for podcasts and KZbin videos as it is... There's becoming more and more quality content and I've got less and less time. There's very few channels which I never miss an upload from now and as time goes on that's spreading even thinner. I say that because TST boys were talking at length about why their view counts have fallen off a cliff in the last podcast and the biggest reason for me is their content quality next to the others now and how much time they waste on air wondering why people aren't watching as much. If they suck an hour of my week up with a video I'm not super interested in and the waffling on during the podcast, then I have to decide where that hour's getting spent and sadly they're dropping further and further down the list. I bring that up because I think TST is doomed, which sucks because I've been a fan for a long time. This podcast has taken the time allocation priority over them now, for me at least.

We need more concept car content!! I'm with you guys on the Cadillac Cien as a halo car. It probably stood a better chance than the Sixteen, which was another gorgeous concept of the same time. I remember seeing the Cien more often in magazines and on covers, but I always felt that the Cadillac Sixteen would've been more realistic, and cooler to see go into production because it seemed to fit the ethos of what Cadillac always was from the 1920s on up. That plus it had a shiny, jawdropping V-16 under a unique hood.

Honestly a Cadillac hypercar is a more real possibility today than ever before. Cadillac has been making cars no one thought they could make in 2024. Keeping the manual and the V8 in the Blackwings, turning concept cars like the Celestiq into reality, and pushing out cars like the Lyriq with concept car styling. Additionally, they've been decently successful in IMSA and endurance racing, and are still pushing towards an F1 entry, although the Andretti partnership is causing some serious hangups. In the same interview, it was suggested that a Cadillac hypercar might not be an EV, but might instead be a hybrid setup like their GTP car. If Cadillac can take the styling of that car, or better, the powertrain, maybe sprinkling in some F1 tech or some Corvette parts, it could be a seriously great machine.

Toronto traffic laws aren't that bad! I regularly drive 15KM over the limit past police. On 400 series highways (equivalent to your Interstates) everyone drives 25KM over. If your caught going 50KM over the limit they can impound your car and suspend your license but you still own your car and you won't be sent to prison 😂

In Toronto we all speed. But 10 km over the limit you are in danger of getting a ticket and the tickets go up exponentially with the speed. At some point they impound your car and take you straight to jail, but it is at a rate where that is just good for everybody.

Lol opel ampera... Yeah, it wasn't popular. Probably mainly because it was expensive and as a hybrid not very efficient. GM boasted 230 mpg at press launch... that quickly went to actually 75. When the engine turns on (always above 70mph) it runs 35 mpg. Also, it was about 10k more than a prius, that had a reliable 55mpg.
@user-yq6ov6ow7l5 ай бұрын
You do not want an NA v12 ferrari, you want a hybrid v12. Here’s why. Whenever an engine is designed, the entire engine is designed around making hp and being drivable. Your cam profiles, exhaust, intake, everything is a balance between low end torque and top end power. Well with a hybrid, you can basically say to the engineers….”ok guys, we have electric motors to handle the low end, so you can go nuts with the top end”
