@shiraishi1 you'll never agree with someone 100%, I certainly don't agree with everything. I would argue the lamborghi murcilago LP670-4 is the best sounding car of all time, but it is subjective. Outside of opinions, what he does best is describe the sensations and emotions of different cars, while using technical details to highlight their differences. And again, this is my opinion.

Doug, you need to get everyone together and do some HUGE collaborations! Road trips and rallies would be AWESOME! With each KZbinr interacting with the others, driving amazing cars on amazing roads, and creating their own content about their perspective on the things that happen on the road trip/rally. Something similar to what we see in Gunball, but with a lot less people, people who actually know and like each other, and a much smaller budget and production level, unscripted, so that everyone can actually just have fun while doing it. I really hope someone does this. Maybe you or Hammond or someone BIG can pull it off.

Just so you know, I watched this entire video, going into with not caring who you watch. However the entire thing was engaging. This is why some dude in shorts gets so many views. Your delivery, pacing, car selection, and just the general way you deliver information, is incredibly engaging.

EVO magazine was so amazing in the mid to late 1980’s. I was I freshman in high school in 1987-88 and I remember going to a periodical store in a strip mall. I was looking at comic books and then I saw EVO magazine on the shelves amongst the many other automotive magazines. WOW! The photos the print quality and the content was incredible. My friend and I would buy EVO magazine and The DuPont Registry. We would learn and dream about the automotive world. We even made our own automotive magazine for ourselves complete with our own design of cars. We did interviews with race car drivers and articles about driving on the autobahn. All thanks to EVO magazine. ❤ Honorable mention: CAR magazine.

I like facial hair Doug. Its time for him to graduate to full blown father-hood and he's done so gracefully. He doesnt even have the energy anymore to wear two shirts.

On a mushy feely note I just want you to know as a viewer of a very long time that while you made a lot of very good points about why these people make good content, that what you bring to the table is also very unique and special in its own way and there are many reasons why a lot of people watch and enjoy your content and I really hope that you don’t think you need to be more like other people. What you do and have done makes you who you are and we appreciate that.

It was a time when we would visit KZbin to watch SaabKyle04 for genuine car reviews of cars we were interested in. However, Doug came along and stole the spotlight, leading to KZbin being flooded with biased car reviewers who provide minimal value.

We have very similar taste for all the same reasons. Harry is my all time favorite, and a spin off from Harry is Iain Tyrrell. I have followed James the Stradman since he got fired from his accounting job. Another one man show that makes a ton of money putting out entertaining videos. I like Throttle House and am happy to know they are from my home town of Toronto. Hoovie may be my guilty pleasure. I find his stuff entertaining and informative. And of course I watch Freddie Tavarish and root for him to finish that impossible restoration and then marvel at how good his 685LT, Merci or F430 turns out.

"a ton of money putting out entertaining videos." Do they really make much ? Doug, Carwow, and Hagerty all have car businesses attached. Hoovie seems to have very rich parents. I didn't know the background of Harry's Garage but know how much I used to spend on magazines in pre-KZbin days. In contrast I wonder how some other KZbinrs can afford a fleet of Supercars.

A shout out should go to the original car review KZbin channel SaabKyle04 Also my new favorite is Mat Armstrong. Although I'll never be able to buy a new supercar he gives me an unrealistic idea that i could buy a crashed one and fix it.

Ian tyrrell at tyrell's garage deserves to be on this list. Harry Metcalf got him to start a channel after doing work on his countach and espada. Wonderful behind the scenes mechanical content.

Harry is the man, AutoAlex is a good shout for Top Gear style stuff that’s really funny, you sometimes find Tom Lenthall in his videos who is the guy who rebuilt the V12 for Harry’s XJ Coupe.
