In Norway, a country with extreme car and gas prices, strict parking regulations and tolls everywhere, this only costs $35,000. And, for electric cars, the tolls are free. And you can drive in bus lanes (which are also everywhere). And ferries are free (which are also everywhere). And public parking is free. And public charging is free. And electric cars don't (or hardly) depreciate. Try to guess why electric cars have more than 20 % of the total car sales in Norway.

I had one. I drove it for 2 years and I put $15 worth of gas in it over those 2 years. It was a CPO so whenever I went on long trips, I was able to rent a car (with an ICE) that BMW paid for up to 4 times per year. Never needs an overpriced BMW oil change, brakes are rarely used, so they last forever. I bought mine used for $18K with 2,000 miles on it and I sold it for $16,600 (back to BMW). It was absolutely worth it. NEVER BUY ANYTHING NEW!!!

Because it was a CPO and they knew/know the infrastructure isn't there for me to make a long trip. Therefore, they would pay for a rental. You can't just buy a used i3 and expect this. It must be a CPO.

Question about the “Value” score - for used cars, you always use the used price when determining value. For this one, you have a multiple-year-old model, missing current features (that you deduct for in the features category) yet you base value on the new price. Either list features for a new one, or list value on a used one. Can’t have it both ways. (A used one is an INCREDIBLE value. I see my local BMW dealer listing certified preowned lease returns for $15,000 regularly. I’m just waiting for the later, bigger-battery model to be available used before getting one.)
