Hey! I'm new to the channel and I was scrolling through your videos trying to find something to watch and I stumbled across this video :) I really enjoy your morning routine videos. Your kids are very lucky to have an AMAZING mother like you! The first thought that came to mind when you said you were making banana bread is that you should try making banana bread muffins. I found a recipe in some baking book, and they are the perfect size for breakfast. I think the recipe that I use makes 12 muffins (or so) and you can even make them with chocolate chips if your kids want :) Have a wonderful day, week, and trip to NYC!

Thank you for sharing your lives with us! You have such a beautiful family. You seem to enjoy batching tasks. Have you considered making a couple jars at a time of the dry parts of your banana bread and/or pumpkin bread? It would be so fast in the morning just to add the wet ingredients and mix! I made banana bread yesterday :) I always end up having a couple extra bananas that go bad every week. It took me lots of trial and error of different recipes over the years but finally found the perfect recipe a couple months ago. I'm sure yours is great, but the one I use is by simply recipes. And a bonus is I love that the ingredients are listed in the order you put them in the bowl, instead of a lot of the time you have to jump around the page.

I've read some bad reviews, doesn't put me off as I can make my own mind up about who and what I like, and I totally understand why you shop as you do. You allot much of your time to shopping, cooking and cleaning for your large family, and to give yourself time with your family you make choices to give you that valuable time - good on you Alicia, no-one pays your bills, no-one lives your life and also I'd imagine very few could balance your schedule and take care of all your kids. Now you can do it all on the computer... witch I have done. I have a template on mine. so that when I get a new recipe I just type it in . You can get index cards on a sheet and you can feed it into your printer. or some printers will take the large index cards.

I feel you on that laundromat bill, it is far more expensive them many realize. I do wash every other weekend for my family of 5 and the amount of clothes those boys rack up I may need to switch to every weekend, but it costs so much. I try to score the big 70lb washers because I can fit more in and have less machines to keep track of but they cost up to $9 a machine. And then the dryers, I end up using about 7-8 to make sure everything dries thoroughly and at a quarter for 6 minutes that can add up when you have a LOT of dark clothes and countless blankets/bedding. Laundromats are not cheap AT ALL.

I am new to the channel and am in the process of watching all the old content. I have a question. I'm sure it has been asked before, but there are SO many comments to read lol! Do the kids eat all the stuff you pack in their lunch? If not, do they eat it as snacks later or something? This question is not a judgmental one. I'm curious because I'm a teacher, and I had a daughter in public school. My school kids and my daughter ALWAYS complained about not having enough time to eat at lunch. They said by the time they got in the lunchroom and found a seat, they probably only had 15 mins to eat, especially the younger ones who want to go outside for a while after lunch. Your kids have such a wide variety of foods in their lunch, I'm just wondering if they actually have time to eat it all during their lunch period.
