I see comments that it is her business what she spends, and that is correct, and I don’t have to watch. I rarely do because I can’t stand her waste. So many families can’t feed their children and she blows money like it is going out of style. Who doesn’t bring supplies from home? Insane spending.

I work for an Airbnb company and we supply everything but the food. I don't understand the excess. If you call the customer service number we will bring you more supplies if needed without any extra charge.

I just got back from 3 weeks at the same beach and did not buy 1/2 that much for 15 people. Of course I took my own sheets and towels from my house I didn’t buy all new 😳 cleaning supplies ? All houses have cleaning supplies ( for quick clean ups ) and you pay a fee to have the house cleaned when you leave . If I had to go through all this I would go to an all inclusive or a cruise it would be cheaper and no work.

Not sure where you stayed that you paid a fee to have the house cleaned but we have never done that. The renter is expected to leave the house clean. A broom is provided but we bring our own supplies. And you had 15 people for 3 weeks and didn’t spend as much as Alicia did? How often did you go out to eat m?

I don’t understand why you don’t bring stuff from home… you said you’ve been coming for years and never bring anything necessary… just seems extremely excessive and wasteful. I don’t know why you need 168 bowls… if each of the 14 ppl use a bowl for four meals a day that only is 56 bowls needed… but not every person will use a bowl for every meal or a plate. You’re looking at 14 people, 3 meals a day, for 7 days, 14x3x7=294 meals. Rounding up, she spent $1800. Divide $1800 by 294 you’re looking at $6.12 a meal. No way you can get the same kind of meal at a restaurant there for $6. And I’m not including snacks. Way cheaper to buy groceries and make your own meals.

As a mom of 8, we drive from Michigan to Florida every year for a family vacation. I spend the first day unpacking and then grocery shopping so i can cook for our family of 10 for the week. Our rental always supplies cookware, etc. Way cheaper than eating out. Next year I'd like to do a cruise though so I can actually relax 😂

Also they are a big family, ordering out and eating out for so many people is expensive because it is multiple times a day. She is smart shopping and getting the stuff she knows kids will like . We just came back from 2 weeks at the beach, Frisco NC. Myself, husband,adult kids, 3 grandchildren so 9 altogether. We brought some things but bought groceries for the house. Everyone did their own thing. But we had several family dinners together, I cooked mostly but I like cooking. I didn’t do breakfast, lunches were mostly sandwiches on the beach or hotdogs, salads at the beach house, things like that. You can’t eat out every meal, it’s too cumbersome

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer is amazing. It doesn't just perfume the laundry; it washes out any residue that carries odor. (Like pillow cases that still smell like the person who used it.). Great for sanitizing after illness, too. It doesn't cause fading or bleaching of colors, either.

Geeze, this does not look like a vacation esp for Alicia having to do all this shopping when she should be relaxing. I would order pizza a couple times during the week and have bologna sandwich day, make noodles one day and I would say kids we are not home so don't expect all the snacks and usual stuff we buy, lol. It would be less stressful to order take out than to have to do all the shopping she has to do but to each their own I suppose. Have a great vacation and do less working, lol.

When I’ve been on holiday a few years ago now (mind you it was only me and my two daughters who are grown adults now, )I bought things for meals at the grocery store and then cooked each night, was way cheaper, didn’t have to bring linen or anything like else just our clothes etc and food, as the hotel was self contained.

I think it all-inclusive resort is a good idea, but it does all depend on what your family is comfortable with. My family has gone to those, but we’re a small family I think with a big family. It might be difficult because there are so many different options on what to do that. It might make it difficult for the little kids. Personal preference for each family. Best wishes for your trip! *if you want an all inclusive vacation. Beaches and Iberostar are the best options for large families ❤

I love to watch you shop for your family how was shopping at Acme was is way different then your other stores ??? So did everything fit in the fridge and freezer ??? My Wal-Mart in CNY just got new carts with the cup holder! Love them except for they made the handles on the carts taller, so I as a short queen, feel like I'm a little kid pushing a shopping cart 😂

You need to carry 1 or 2 green milk caps in your purse to use on milk when you can't find it...might help. Have fun this week!
