Traditionally in Britain Yorkshire puddings are eaten as a savoury dish along side meat, potatoes and vegetables with gravy (British "gravy"!) But you can also have sweet Yorkshire puddings where you pair them (make them individually in a little cupcake tin) with cream, syrup etc Always enjoy watching your vids and I think it's awesome that you do "around the world" meals to teach the kids about different food & cultures etc ♥ Love from Wales 🏴 (a country in Britain!lol)

Yorkshire puddings - equal parts egg milk and plain flour. Salt to taste. Have your oils smoking hot (oven up as high as it will go) so the batter sizzles when it hits you only need to cover the tray in it not have inches of oil, metal tray not glass! Perfect!

You ain't seen crazy until you have a hurricane coming through like we are here in Florida next week. Everyone flocks to the grocery stores for water and ice and to the gas stations to fill up their vehicles & gas cans for generators. I guess you can compare it to snow blizzards up North which we don't have in the South. What do you do with the chips the kids don't like? Do they eventually eat them or do they get donated? I'd hate to see food go to waste. But you have quite the stock! Your high tea looked awesome. Those fruit tarts were beautiful! I'm not British but if I'm not mistaken, Shepard's pie is made with lamb and if you use beef it's cottage pie. Also I think Yorkshire pudding is a savory dish eaten with your meal. Hence using the beef drippings. I've also seen them made in muffin tins too. Again, I'm not British so I could be mistaken. But everything looked delicious!

Treat yourself to some shortbread next time, it is yummy! I saw that you got ground beef for the shepherds pie, but shepherds pie has ground lamb in it, and cottage pie has ground beef. Though I am sure it will be lovely either way! I used to get them mixed up, but think shepherds and sheep! Fun vid as always and love hearing you chat about the family, i hope James' earache clears up quickly, they are no fun! P.s i have never been able to make a good Yorkshire pudding either and i have tried for years, i think you might have had too much beef dripping for yours, nice try though!

I am not sure if you get lamb mince in the US. The only reason I say this as a typical shepherds pie in the UK is made with Lambs mince. Yorkshire pudding is not a pudding it is starter or as part of a main dish of a Sunday Roast dinner. Not to pick but your Yorkshire pudding mix is to runny it needs to be thick like pancake batter. Your oil needs to be very hot and cook it for 20 mins xx❤

Wow. you only need a small amount of really hot oil for the Yorkshire puddings. We use vegetable oil. And do them in metal muffin segment tin, a tea spoon of oil in each metal section, leave in oven until really hot, then poor in batter to each section. They then rise & crisp up, sides go really high & then you can put some jam in middle when cooked. But Yorkshire puddings are mainly savoury & had with main meal a roast dinner like roast beef with gravy.

23:10 pro-tip: ALWAYS get your hoodies at least a size or 2 larger than you'd normally wear & the neck part wont choke the crap out of you (and normally hang them to dry to prevent shrinkage). Always get mine oversized because I like them to be big & loose & because I have long arms & sometimes the sleeves will end up too short if I get my actual size, but also found out it helps in the neck area too especially if you have long hair. Have sooo many hoodies I love but just cant wear because of either too short arms (think some might have ended up in the dryer at some point) and/or they try to choke me out

You are the sweetest person, very good to your kids and they love you very much. It shows! Hey, this that I'm about to say I mean no disrespect at all!! Maybe I'm questioning rather than assuming. Not sure but I see you pretty much grab just what you want and go ad your not observing the price. Also, you could save SO MUCH MONEY by making freezer meals, shopping with a list (did t see one, maybe I missed it..weekly meal planning, making a lot of your own things homemade. Sure it takes time but the good thing is most of your kids are all older...not a lot of toddlers running around. Anyway, just so many ways to save money and time. So many things on line that can help guide the processes....3 of my friends have large families, 2 have 13 kids and the other has 12, they shop several different store's for the best deals, it's so worth It! Just as you are I'm sure of it...they are so structured, the routine when it comes to meals is amazing. I've not watched a ton of your video's, maybe I've missed it and you do all these things...if so great, but either way and no matter I know your a good mom! Guess I wanted to mention coz at the end of the year, by making lots backing lots freezing lots saves thousands for those with large families! Thanks for sharing...again don't take offence please, your such a sweetperson and I mean Well! 🤗

Ummmmm just in case you don’t know Scotland is part of the UK.I saw absolutely nothing in your cart other than jammies dodgers and rich tea biscuits that were British.

So much sugar and processed food. So many sugary drinks. In total just so much food. Even if they are feeding 14 people. But that must be like 3000 kalories per person and day 😳

I'd learned long ago, the words, "Beverage", and "Drink" mean they are NOT juices.

Same thing happened when I lived in Massachusetts. Mostly for snow storms though. They went nuts. My husband wouldn't watch the weather but would stop at the store to pick up dinner before coming home. He knew something was coming because the milk and bread would be wiped out.

I love watching your videos. My husband passed away November 20th and I have a 15 year 6a 18 year old and a 2 year old grandson. Your husband is a teacher bless his heart cuz it takes a very special person to do that. But what you are spending a week on food just floors me. Unless I was naturally rich I could not ever buy that much food for my family. We cook from scratch, we do not eat out. Your kids have no clue how lucky they are. My girls would be so happy if I brought chips home.

Those jammie dodgers looked good! I never heard of Wegman's. We have one store named Piggly Wiggly and not much international items.

There's a sarcastic British saying "as useful as a chocolate teapot". Those chocolate teacups are the exception that proves the rule 😄

Does that grocery store offer a rewards program? We have one down here in North Florida that does. You get 1 point for every $1 you spend and you can use it for free groceries. Winn-Dixie does this as well. Side note I love McDonald's Iced Coffee, I used to get their French Vanilla, but they had to take it off the menu, Hazelnut is 2nd best. I make one on Fridays in the afternoon as a pick me up. Have a good weekend!!

I was really looking for your grocery haul, lol. Thanks for sharing your family with us. You know, sometime when you watch a person video and you notice item you have seen in stores but never wanted or need them then you will want to try it, it was the white claw for me and it tasted good, lol.💖💖💖💖💖💖
