Sweet video Ryan from my neck of the woods ... Did you get a chance to stop by the East Tennessee Fishing Show and Expo ? I've been having some trouble gettin em to bite with my normal winter baits like a A-Rig/Jerk Bait/Fluked Underspin on Loudoun , Melton Hill and Cherokee too ... I started throwing nothing but a blade bait and a Ned and started catchin em .

I havent been out on douglas but I would imagine that with the warm weather and all the rain we had the shallow bite should be getting better.

I don't know about you but I have a love/hate relationship with an A-rig. Yes they put the work in and catch fish, but I find myself spending more time unraveling baits and straightening wire than fishing it.

Make sure you’ve got your wires spread far enough about that will normally fix that issue

Yeah I mean an A-rig has never been my favorite method but there is no doubt that it produces and at times is hard to beat especially during the cold winter months so its hard not to throw it even if it can be frustrating to deal with lol

At the time this video was filmed I believe it was in the mid 50's but currently I don't know, if I have to guess I would say mid 40's.
