My dad died at the same time from a 6+ year battle with pancreatic cancer. Our family will continue to keep normalcy while remembering him in our everyday lives. Our loved one's memory will live on in those left behind.

Chet. I know you probably won’t see this. But I’m 42 years old. I’m a stage four cancer survivor. You are about the most loving humble strong and respectable person I know. It’s crazy how close you get to feel about people you’ve never met in person. I hope you all really enjoy the new boat. Keep your head up high. That feeling in your soul will get better with time. Just do one thing. Obviously Nicole is going to be on your mind for a very long time. So when your doing any dangerous task home or on the farm be careful. Before you start the task just stop and clear your mind for ten seconds. Then start the task. Nobody wants to see you get hurt. Take care bud and god bless you all. HI TOBY!! Your Dad reminds me of my dad with a big heart. My dads brother got Oesophagus cancer and never been on a pontoon so my dad bought a new one so they could enjoy it for summer but sadly his brother never made it and never got to enjoy it. Then a year later my dad had the same cancer and passed away in 2017 at 58 years old.

So many memories. I to lost my wife 7 years ago now and after 40 years of marriage. Still don’t have my life totally in order because after so many years there was no me or I it was only us. Here in Nova Scotia we always have a pastor come do a blessing the fleet on the fist day of lobster season ect, on for the first day the marina's lets boats drop for summer or when naming the boat, I think naming the boat Nikki's Pot Of Gold would be an amazing tribute for her , I also thought of her as y'all launched off I think she is watching down and smiling! If you're a farmer working on Sundays doesn't really bother you cuz its some kind of work that usually has to be done. If it was nice out I usually got stuff done outside that had to be done and when winter came I usually watched sports or took a nap and rested up for Monday and start all over again.
