Everyone has done a catch, clean and cook. Doug does videos for catch, clean, cook, carving, canoe, camping, and coffee. I hope you got the relaxation that you get in the woods once you put the camera down.

I love your overnight paddle adventures. You really seem to just sit back and soak it all in, rather run-n-gun. ...of which you've done that as well. But these little overnight trips to "your lake", are so good. Thanks for bringing us along... "One Rod, Dougie". :)

Mr. Linker it’s great to see ya back at the island. I seriously enjoy the carving videos, but do love the camping/paddling/fishing videos. I definitely feel can relate to the big five O. I hit the half century mark myself near the end of August.

Hey Doug it’s GREAT to see you back in the bush. We all need more of that from you. I don’t think you realize how spectacular your canoeing/camping/fishing videos are. In my humble opinion they are among the very best on KZbin. And I especially love it when you include a carving project like you did in this video. Simple ones though! because I’m still learning from you. Lol! Luv ya Doug! Much respect.

You Sir are one of the most likeable unfazed people I have come across. You send out such a great message to the world. Only take a fish that is the right size for your belly. A lot of people would not think twice about cooking more and wasting half of it. Wishing you and your family well from across the water in the UK.

Great video, Doug! That looks like such a great campsite! I mostly remember it from the video that you made (many moons ago) when you surprised your brother Andrew! Even with all of the hard work and annoying plane, looks you had a great time!

I'm not a carver but I greatly enjoy your creations and the joy you get out of doing so but I have to be honest, I really enjoy your campouts so whenever you want to bring us along we'll be watching. Best part of the camping trip...no bugs. Many of us have broken the fishing rod on trips, but only you have videoed it. Nice. Stay safe Doug and enjoy the time off.
