I have a question about the Midwifery School, Can you work as a Doula and be a Midwifery student so you can pay for you tuition ?

Its definitely possible I know some midwives who've done it and I'm doing it now but probably not for long. Its also difficult keeping up with all the appointments and avoiding burn out from all the births happening a month. If you can keep your load lighter that might help

Congratulations on ur journey to become a Midwife!! Ur video was very helpful. I'm a new Birthing Doula as of Sept 2020 and my hang up is knowing what and how to properly price my services. Ideally, I'd like to offer 3 pckges with somethg extra in each. How did you go abt coming up with ur rates?

Definitely do your research, there are many doula programs out find one that really aligns with your values.

Hey. I'm in the process of Doula training and I'm also an LPN. Do you recommend I put that out there or too much if a liability?

Your medical background is definitely an advantage in being able to educate but be very careful in doula practice to not give medical advice, there’s a fine line that can’t be crossed. Defer all medical questions to their provider and make it clear what your opinion is, when asked.

Im looking into your academy and i wanted to know does my location matter to receive my certification? Can i live in California and then move to another state with my certification?

Yes you can. Doula work is not regulated so you don’t have to Recertify for every state
