The list is almost endless ... She is so talented that no one can ignore her. The list is almost endless ... She actually sets the pace herself to total worldfame . Although she herself is an 18-year-old young lady, her taste in music is quality, and not just high bass in the stomach. When the next James Bond film is to be made, who do you think is in the spotlight for a possible theme song? From the start at 6-7 years old, refining her craft, working right through the (very rare) mistakes singing live, always in sync with her musicians even if they aren't at her level, one could go on and on. Her parents recently divorced and her father who travels quite a bit which might have had something to do with their separation, Angelina could not understand how anyone could dare abandon her. I believe in time she understands it's her mom and father who came to this agreement and I'm sure the subject of the two girls was in their conversation. So, she will give him credit for helping her when she was very young and, perhaps, instilling the strength inside her to face up to what has happened to the family. We could guess that he was very concerned about mom's total commitment to Angelina and her career and that he felt left out. Who knows? Someone might say, "What's all the fuss?" Angelina did say she understands this is life and everyone has their own bag and everyone has to manage the best they can. An interesting factor is that Angelina has been bestowed with the moniker, "Princess" and I think every little girl is a Princess but Angelina is a Princess to millions of fans around the world and this decision by her parents hurt her a lot. Btw, I believe Juliette actually took it worse than her older sister. Did Angelina think the broadness of her fame had something to do with their separation? Again, who knows? I believe the lessen Angelina has learned is that inevitably every person has to make decisions that may not be popular but need to be understood and in this case she has decided to remember all the good that occurred when he was around and that in his heart she has to believe he will always love her even if he doesn't express it openly. But, Dounia, one thing she has going for her is a love exchange she has with so many people in the world and it is a genuine love and it will get stronger and stronger as time passes by. Just yesterday I listened to Vera Lynn, An English 'Dame' sing 'We'll Meet Again' in 1995 celebrating the 50 year of the end of World War II. A stirring song you must listen to.

This is the first public performance of this song - still very raw. Angelina had to work very hard to hold back the emotions. She is a master at handling things on stage. When she was little and had congestion and swelling I would put $ on the fact that she incorporated her voice cracking on high notes into her singing. Several have made the statement about her that "her imperfections are perfect" and often they seem to be. When she is in her music, including practice and rehearsal, nothing seems to bother her as she stays so calm and in control and in practice will just back up and do it again---even if the error is repetitive there is no change in her demeanor. Ivan, who accompanied her on guitar for a year stated the he never saw her get frustrated or upset even if he was the cause for a retake. This quality that she has is remarkable especially when you consider her status and the venues that she performed at. Wishing you all the best.

Nice reaction Dounia. from a number of her fans who spoke with Angelina's mother Sara, this song is about the divorce of her parents. We knew her youngest sister was having a tough time dealing with the situation with some social media postings, but we had no idea what Angelina was feeling. This song gives us an idea what she was dealing with. By the way, some time this week, Angelina and Toby will have a new release call What A Wonderful World. Some of us believe it's their version/cover of the famous song by Louis Armstrong. We'll find out really soon!

I love reactors like you who, unlike those whose reactions consist mainly of variations of "Wow' and "What a nice voice", actually use your experience and expertise not only to react honestly to our beloved artists, but also to teach us, so that we ourselves are able to appreciate them even more. Dounia… I love your reactions, I love your style… and your analogies are spot-on! I think your first language helps (Lebanese?… Arabic?). It gives you a perspective that is different from us English speaking Americans. 🚬 Your “extinguishing cigarette” analogy is perfect. That points to another Angelina Jordan characteristic that I have noticed… her song endings are always thought-out and oftentimes unexpected. Her endings add much to the meaning of the songs she sings. For example, many fans complained about the abruptness of the ending of “Million Miles.” To me, it was SO appropriate. The song is about the loss of her grandfather and what better way to highlight the impermanence of life than with an unexpected ending. Keep doing what you do Dounia. First ever performance, we are all waiting for the studio version. I have to think there is still some working out of exactly how she wants to sing this song. Angelina never sings a song the same twice so I have no doubt she will figure out what went wrong and change it up as necessary. Its a bit like the duet with Scott from Pentatonox "All of Me" I don't think they rehearsed it a lot and messed a few bits up but even so made a great job of it. Thanks for reacting to Angelina. I think this is another song that she worked on with Toby two years ago so she would have been 16 at the time of the studio recording. I think there are plans to release this song. The idea of making a negative into a positive is similar to her song Good In Goodbyes.

I don’t think she made a mistake. I think she got a little emotionally overwhelmed causing her voice to choke for a second or two. She was choked up a little when she was talking about the meaning of the song before she began. That was my assumption sitting 20 feet from her as she was performing it.
