Yes! That would be awesome. But I don't know if Karen will be down for it. She seems to be enjoying a private life away from the spotlight, like Yasmeen Ghauri, as she some what semi-retired from modeling. Last I heard of her was in 2015 modeling for Milady, and in 2016 attending PFW. I really like how Doutzen acknowledges her fellow Dutch models. Karen was one of the original Victoria's Secret Angels along Tyra Banks, Stephanie Seymour, Helena Christensen and Daniela Pestova. She was among the top 10 most in demand models during the supermodel era (late 80s to early 90s), and had one of the best walks, with an unmatched effortless sex appeal. She also was one of the pioneer Dutch models, and unquestionably the most successful, as she managed to find success both in commercial and high fashion modeling. While Marpessa Hennink was very present in much of the high fashion runway shows in the supermodel era (she was a favorite of Dolce & Gabbana especially with her tomboy/tough girl attitude strut), and Frederique van der Wal, Famke Janssen, and Yolanda van den Herik (Gigi Hadid's mother) were successful in commercial modeling, Karen managed to rival their success both in commercial and high fashion modeling. She was a rare beauty that could be that blue-eyed blonde bombshell Barbie doll with a voluptuous figure that represents the quintessential Victoria's Secret Angel (think of what Candice is today to Victoria's Secret), while also having the sophisticated and glamourous look of a Hollywood star of the classic era. Who knew that the 60th anniversary show of Christian Dior would be the last runway walk we would see of Karen and Linda Evangelista. I really hope these queens make a return to the runway, or even just any ad campaign or magazine cover or editorial. Even Christy Turlington made her come back last year, celebrating her 50th birthday. This year, Karen is turning 50, along with Naomi and Claudia, so hopefully we see more of them. By the way, people of Dutch descent seem to be one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. They produced beauties like Audrey Hepburn, Jane Fonda, Charlize Theron, Karen Mulder, Lara Stone, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Rianne Ten Haken, Marloes Horst, Romee Strijd, Frederique van der Wal, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn, Yolanda Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Luna Bijl, Bregje Heinen, Birgit Kos, among many more.

Hi Doutzen! You are lovely and I really like your "vibe." :) This video really struck a chord with me, because my parents used to host the spring Ready-to-Wear show at the Ritz Carlton in our city way back. Their boutique had the exclusive contract to sell the Dior label in our city. Such a thing no longer exists, and they were very proud of the honor of selling and showing Dior. My mom taught me a lot about haute couture and about fashion in general. After my dad passed, the head of Dior at the time, Jacques Rouet, invited my mom to Paris. She went and had a wonderful time! I have to get back to Paris one day myself, as I think there's nothing quite like it. On a modern note, I love the way Maria Grazia took on a feminist theme and expressed this in the collection, without making it un-feminine. The designs were gorgeous! She is becoming my favorite supermodel now and a blogger. Unlike other model who only do blogging to promote their products. Doutzen covers around everything from knowledge, travel, food, fashion, family and inspiration. Its like a lifestyle channel. She took it to the next level. Some models just blog about what they eat, their diet, beauty secrets which is cool but Doutzen is not just all about that. I learn a lot from her and she is very natural, no pretentions or no agenda no making business. And I like that it has subtitles. She can make her own lifestyle talkshow someday.
