I don’t agree. The large caps that are holding up the markets are still posting very strong earnings. Albeit trading at a very high multiple. Until that changes and we see weaker earnings in the large caps this will only be a correction towards more normal prices. However there definitely are possible drivers for weaker earnings but to predict 4200 at this point is insane.

QE in any form with prices gotten so high only makes things worse not better. We saw that today. The FED cut 3 times. What did the 2 and 10 year yields due. They spiked HARD. And that is all we need to know. Folks think the Govt comes to the rescue (the fed put) it is not going to work this time. The Govt and everyone is way more broke then they know.
