Love the early stories Tom. I remember my first Fair in the UK when I was around 10. Walked in with my Mum ( under duress) and saw for the first time German Tunics hanging on hangers…hooked. I don’t collect German as I collect Royal Air Force, but the interest will never diminish. Thanks for the videos

I’ll never forget going to gun shows in the late 70’s/early 80’s with my dad and the militaria was always super cool for me. The flags hanging up and mannequins and uniforms and daggers and bayonets. I always wanted a H youth knife as a kid, never got one. The gun shows back then were a very big deal and I always loved going.
@johnburrows11792 жыл бұрын
Oh I remember the 1960s and 70 s Tom. You could buy an original SS helmet out of a Sports Afield magazine for $19.95! Daggers. Bayonets. Tunics. But back then it was all still too fresh. Most people were like who the hell wants a Nazi helmet lol. Same with guns K98s. I enjoy your videos immensely Tom. I wish someday, you guys could come to SW Florida. You guys would be sold out. Have a great day

My first piece of militaria I ever collected was in 1974. A US sailor gave me his hat insignia. I was 9 years old. The next year I got my first WW2 German collectible, a sleeve insignia for a fire brigade. I still have them both.

Hey Mr Wittman. It's Aaron in NC...we've talked a few times by Email about my J.A Schmidt amd Son SA dagger. Just wanted to say the guy who complained about you "talking too much" can go watch something else. Those of us who watch your UnBoxing videos look forward to your stories and anecdotes as much (if not more) the actual items.
