No one knows; that is a first. But the dagger must be removed and inspected to make sure everything is real. Retain the bag and the video of it being opened.

I think in the collecting community we need to discuss whether one should open an original factory bag with dagger inside or not. Do we or should we devalue a mint dagger if removed from the bag? How can we enjoying a dagger if we can't see it?

I think it has to be removed and the bag preserved, That thing could be a fake inside that bag and in my opinion only a fool would pay top dollar for it sight unseen.

Please explain what you are doing, getting all this neat stuff . . . Are you appraising, buying, consigning, maybe read the letter before you go on camera. The first SS dagger, you didn’t question the crude officer number. Is that how they would have given it the officer? The more education you can give the better. Where did the items come from? Maybe a little video editing.
