They wont like it but rinse with water in the sink or tub if it's too much for a wet wash cloth. Whatever soap, if needed, should be completely and thoroughly rinsed out! Better safe than sorry. The goggles were to protect his eyes and I'm white, so I'm not certain, but I am guessing pepper fragments are very hard to get outof black hair so he was minimizing how much hair would exposed.
