Definitely agree that it’s outrageous to have to pay at the medical tent, especially inflated prices when you’ve got no choice. Seems very fair to me to add a bit onto the ticket price to cover the costs.

Agree with the lads here, the festival itself is a very solid 7, but that is everything you need to experience the bands and when you bring a good squad (as I had this year), the festival makes it easy to build on and push to a 10

Bunny chow is a South African dish from the Durban area. its bread filled with curry not a chilli. it started as a blue collar easy to pick and go meal. huge fan of tpd.

I went to Nova rock and it sounds just like rock for people. There was flushing toilets that were cleaned and sinks and soap to wash your hands with. Even the portaloos were better. They had those toilets in the glamping area and also in the main arena general admission. I’m so done with uk festivals now. Although I have to say download the last few year download toilets have been fine. Even last year in 2023 the download toilets were absolutely fine and I barely had to queue.

Download will have paid the event medical provider handsomely to cover the event. Any event medical provider worth their weight knows this isn’t how it works. Charging patients for treatment is not okay. I’d love to know who the medical provider was for Download.

My tent was about 50mtrs from the doghouse..i gave up on sleep till 3am and just did doghouse every night. Its easier than fighting it😂

Danny is catching on with the hiking backpack, I've been doing it for years. They are so much better than shitty normal backpacks or carrying stuff with your hands, if you set the straps up right they are literally designed to carry 65l+ of gear on your back on a proper hike. Also a big fan of the Quechua blackout tents but go for poled rather than popup, they pack away so much better and if you break a pole you can get replacements from Decathlon.

Me and my mate tried the women’s urinals for the first time this year. Totally converted. Didn’t have to queue the entire weekend and the bonus is you don’t have to touch anything. Also gave you a great view of the stage 😂🤘🏻

I've always watched and enjoyed the pod regardless of host, it's always great, but sometimes it got a bit repetitive going over what we've already seen in the main vid. When I got festival food poisoning my mate ate at exactly the same 2 vendors as me that day and was alright whereas I was fucked, so yeah def understand you can have multiple people at 1 vendor and not everyone gets food poisoning. Also it was Spain so I think I just got dead unlucky cos it was campylobacter not ecoli.
