Wild mushroom with some porcini for a big kick of that earthy flavour. I have had it in restaurants, but would love a great recipe for fall, now that the meatier mushrooms are growing, Maitake would also be a great flavour, kind of truffle like.

Mushroom & Lemon Asparagus… I’ve done that for 25 guests. 😳 One of my adventures in life! My daughter’s Baby Shower. Could not disappoint, didn’t know what I was doing, but got me a super large Cuban grandma aluminum pot and did it!! I felt my Mom was there over my shoulders, guiding me all the way. Everyone loved it, party was a wonderful success. Except for the cake, but “that’s another show Geraldo.” Now I can correct a couple mistakes I made back then. Lisa, you are an awesome instructor and inspiration. Thank you, blessings.♥️🌟

I'm Italian and I love risottos...this recipe is fantastic, I absolutely have to try it! we are big fans of risotto, these are the ones I prepare (I hope to give you some ideas): - blueberry and robiola risotto - Taleggio and citrus fruit risotto - broad bean and speck risotto - apple, walnut and goat cheese risotto - pumpkin, parmesan and amaretti risotto - saffron and sausage risotto - grape and goat cheese risotto

So I was in Ireland when this recipe came through. I did not have time to watch it immediately. However, one night in a restaurant the risotto special was beetroot risotto ( USA residents would just say beet risotto). It was absolutely delicious with feta cheese (montrachet cheese would be great as well). So I will certainly try your recipe with broccoli but will also try reworking it to make beet risotto. Thank you so much!!!

I do not know if you still have issues with chopping onions, but if you have a glass/or small bowl of water by the chopping board, the sulfur from the onion goes to that water instead of the water in your eyes causing way less eye tears when chopping.

Brown rice isn't recommended as there's not enough starch to make it creamy. But if you want to try, you'll need much more liquid and it will likely take longer.
