I happen to love downsizing videos because it's interesting to see how the collector curates their collection to make them happy. I also enjoyed when you said smthg like, "collecting just to be a completionist is not for me, it should make me happy." ABSOLUTELY. If looking for certain cards brings you dread you absolutely shouldn't do it. And that's the case even for an ult group. Also, I don't stan any of the groups in here, but as a fellow collector, I empathized with every feeling you conveyed. Also, yes, I've often thought that collecting pcs is purely spending money. All this paper sits in binders. The money you spent sits idle while you go buy more lol You made such great points throughout. Really enjoyed this immensely. I agree with you for Lesserafim, I love them but it’s so hard to collect three members I collected chaewon, Sakura, and kazuha and I couldn’t. Especially with chaewon people price her cards so insanely, so don’t feel bad for doing anything because it’s your money. 💕

it’s downsizing year and i’m so here for it!! so many people and youtubers that i watch have downsized, including myself. it’s just too much, especially during school. balancing school and work/things you do to make profit is hard 😭😭 was collecting all the members for 5 groups, now i just collect 2 groups for all members. i also downsized some ultimate biases, especially because companies release so many fucking album versions 🙄

Dropping ot9 is so relatable, I went from collecting top 3 to ot9 because my bias line kept changing and I wanted to collect everyone, but it just wasn’t as much fun as collecting top 3. Something about top 3 twice collections is just so right

i really recommend doing what u said during the sieun part, just put them in a box for like a few weeks or smt and think about it, if u miss them u just put them back, u can also just keep her cards and not collect anything more for now, i ALWAYS do that and i never regretted dropping stuff thank god

Oh no, just as I decided to collect 0t9 twice you are dropping yours. So sad to hear but do what best for you. I have been contemplating too in dropping some other collections as well. I have so far dropped my Heeseung collection, and debating dropping Soobin. I love them both but it gets hard collecting for three people per group. I feel like I’m forcing myself because they fit better in a 9 pocket page then collecting two members.😭

For the With You-th cards, you can just keep the 4 ot9 sets and then downsize the other 3. It'll still fill the 9 pockets. A win-win situation :D

Genuine question I really don't mean any hate, but what's your goal in boycotting hybe? Ideally they'd fire scooter and we can all go back to normal, but are you just gonna never collect fromis, le sserafim, txt, etc until then? What happens if they never kick him out? Which is the most logical outcome since he's so close to the literal founder of hybe😕 I'm just wondering cuz i personally am not boycotting since my ults are under hybe and i want to collect them (and personally think buying secondhand is no better than placing the order myself) and i understand people who completely dropped their hybe collections, but I don't understand those who are like in the middle actually expecting hybe to fire that guy in the near future

i don’t really have a “goal” or “expectation” that hybe is going to do anything about scooter braun since not enough people are truly taking the boycott seriously, i, however, just feel uncomfortable giving more money to a company who platforms scooter in that way, so i’ve stopped buying from them and streaming! im keeping my collections because i still love the groups and its money that ive already spent! i doubt they will kick him out, and thats not necessarily my “goal” with boycotting, it is mostly that im uncomfortable providing the company more monetary support and going forward i dont want to give them with anymore money than i already have! thats my idea anyway. thanks for the question!

hi! i’m pretty sure since the boycott ive only bought two fromis cards and both have been from people who are also boycotting, meaning those cards weren’t giving money to the company during the boycott! im very selective with the cards that i buy for hybe groups these days! as for sm, i am choosing to boycott hybe because of scooter braun specifically and his connections to the company! i do appreciate any criticism but i feel like these efforts would be better spent on people who aren’t boycotting at all than on the specific ways i am boycotting! :)
