This is a Park Model home. They are 399 sq ft or smaller. Some offer a loft. Due to their size, they cannot be towed by a pickup truck like a traditional THOW. They tend to be cheaper per square foot than traditional tiny houses on wheels. They are often built by the same companies that build manufactured (mobile) homes, so you'll see a lot of the same finishes, such as the built-in cabinetry, sheet vinyl flooring, etc. The layout of this model looks quite nice.

I just wrote essentially the same thing in response to another poster, lol, more recently I’ve seen the same models again and again with small variations, far more livable than some hundred square foot “home” where one has to climb up ladders, without a bathroom, etc.

Yeah. So people in these "communities" are vulnerable to the same pattern of staggering land-rent increases as people in mobile home parks. Some dilemma: you can't pay the new rents, but you can't afford to move your house either.

Extra info: this is located outside Huntsville, AL. The model she has is called "Cardinal," and there are currently a couple for sale at this park. They're slightly larger than hers at 607sf, and are listed for about $82k. Lot rents are $450/mo.

The sleeping area is very open and big, that is great. Because the only reason for me not going tiny would be the small heights in the bedrooms, makes me claustrophobic. Here you have enough space

Wow, loved the spaciousness of this tiny home. It really didn't look like a tiny from the inside, with the exception of it only being one bedroom. I loved the living room/kitchen/office space styling and my gosh, the bathroom was also so spacious. Fabulous that the 'laundry' area didn't have to be squished into the bathroom. A very impressive tiny home.

It is a great tiny home. I’m glad she doesn’t have to climb up a ladder or go upstairs to get to the bedroom. I don’t like the ones with the cramped loft.

I wouldn’t call this a tiny home. Based on the description she gave, 16x32=512 sq ft, it’s too large to even be a park model. I’m glad she found a home she likes, but hearing this called a tiny home may confuse viewers. I see people talking about how spacious it is “compared with other tiny homes.” That’s because it’s 2-3 times as large as they are.

16 foot width is nice but I have never seen a tiny home wider than 10 feet. I'm from Oklahoma and this is a mobile home, not a tiny home.

I’m locked into living in the NY/NJ area and there at no tiny house communities here 😢. The best I could do is a trailer park but there aren’t any new ones .. existing ones are sad and low income . I’d love a tiny home with a great porch
