@@Chronos352 Don't get me wrong, I Love Downton about as much as the next person. Hell I can quote the script better than Julian Fellowes himself. Yet with so many scenes and scenarios to choose from, why repeat the same ones over and over and over again.

I agree with you 100 percent! I've been banging on to the channel owner about at least not deleting any previously uploaded identical or similar video...because of effort that "some of us" put into our comments. We all, or most of us anyway, deserve more respect for our comments than that! I, for one, do NOT consider my own comments to be "ephemeral", and therefore without worth. Nor do I consider most other people's comments to not be worth preserving. We have every right to expect the channel owner to keep older videos up, if only to preserve our comments! And furthermore, we have every right to expect the channel owner to clarify if they have done, and are doing this. Or if they are just callously deleting the identical older videos willy-nilly. Because I'm not going to engage with any new videos and write comments, if they're just going to eventually delete them! It would enrage me if that's what they're doing! And it should enrage anyone who writes comments that are not shallow and therefore ephemeral, as some shallow people have opined.

@@m.layfette6249 Thanks, you too. 😉 It's amazing though to read the whining of shocked NPCs (generic "Non Playing Characters"...a video gaming reference) who are "shocked and enraged" every time I, or someone else, has the "gall" to actually hold the channel owner to account for this kind of cheap and disrespectful behavior. And the fact that, despite my requesting many times, for the channel owner to clarify IF they are in fact deleting the identical older videos, calling them out for not yet having clarified whether or not they are deleting these older videos. I've looked for them, but although I can't say for sure they're gone, I know I couldn't find them when I looked. *1) If possible at this point, the older deleted videos, with all comments intact, need to be restored! And... 2) The channel owner needs to apologize for, and commit to never deleting older videos and their associated comments again! That is...if they actually want people to engage with, and appreciate any NEW uploads! Because, while I can't speak for the NPCs, I don't write anything in a comment that I expect will disappear...ever. Unless I delete it myself! And I'm not going to waste my time writing any comments on any video for any channel owner who sees it differently!
