Downtown Fremont: It's All about the Place

In this second video of vignettes designed to share the City’s progress towards creating a Downtown, it takes more than brick, mortar and infrastructure to draw people to the Downtown. There needs to be a “place” where people feel drawn, comfortable, and inspired. Check out how we’re creating that “place” with events such as Fremont Street Eats, the popular gourmet food truck event, and Fremont Underground Social Experience (FUSE), a monthly event series that brings the underground arts scene to Downtown Fremont.

I moved away but, Fremont is the best bay area place to live by far! I've lived in Merced, Tracy, San Francisco, Hayward, Fremont, and San Jose. Fremont is the BEST! I want to go back to visit! I'm in New Zealand now, lol surfing KZbin for memories!

Left in 1993. Spent a few years in Marin. Then San Francisco. And straight to LA to get into movies & TV. Wouldn’t live in Fremont again if they paid me to as a full time job.

Yeah beautiful downtown? Nothing is there? But benches, tile , and lots of high density housing, oh yes I could I forget to mention the homeless! The current Mayor and the one before her have screwed up this place like never before! Beautiful downtown????
