I know this is an old comment but im gonna respond anywaus. If this were any other city I'd agree. But a lot of Palm Springs was built up in the 50s and has more mid century style architecture than any city in the US. It had some of the best mid century architects building modern buildings for the rich in the 50s and 60s. Its a city that was ahead of its time, and its a city that others tried to copy and look like. When you see other US cities that look like this, its because theyre trying to look like Palm Springs. This city is the original and all the others are tacky copies. If you wanted to visit a city full of the best modern architecture back in the 50s, this was your only option
