Cambridge proved that 40% of western news about China is negative, only 2% in positive. He’s proof that he isn’t professional, instead of just giving facts he gives his opinions (that’s the audience task). It must be someone that got crazy, it happens everywhere from time to time, even in the safest country in the world. The fact that BBC reporters like him are not banned after confirming their strong racist bias towards Chinese and its country is a clear proof that they are not as authoritarian as they make you believe. Snowden and others are persecuted when true news are released in the US, Uk and allied countries. Hypocrisy from a country that bullied China for a century trafficking illegally with opium and taking over hk as their selling base, a base that was never ruled by locals but only by British people selected by the Queens, until it was given back to the Chinese that finally gave the power to local hk-nese. There’s much British and western people don’t know… and the sad thing is you don’t usually need vpn to learn and compare. Foreigners that come to China open their eyes, even just as tourists. @iandmyself123529 күн бұрын
I'm not certainly sure about the reason, but there are a lot of Chinese people believe (or to be more direct, the government make them believe)that many of the foreign reporters make fake news to slander China.
@edhtfc29 күн бұрын
Im Chinese and In brief, our government (CCP) spares no effort in brainwashing us, leading some people to believe that foreign journalists are “spies” who want to capture images that portray China in a negative light and gather information. As a result, when they see BBC reporters covering news, they feel extremely angry and do not want them to “discredit” China (even though the majority of BBC’s reports are relatively objective).
