Her reaction after seeing what happened with the daughter was seriously the most mindblowing, anxiety producing, devastating, fascinating scene I have ever seen an actress portray. She is BRILLIANT.

After seeing Hereditary last night, I can say Toni was truly something special. A force of nature. I found myself sympathizing with her, crying for her, sometimes laughing at her, and maybe even a little bit of hating her. She goes through such a journey and it’s amazing to see how she handles that progression. Bravo!
@MrAdryan1603 Жыл бұрын
Wow. This is just... one of the most honest and candid interviews I've ever seen. Ican't believe I've never seen this until now. She comes off as personable and kind and intuitive, very emotionally aware. She seems like a phenomenal person and I've never heard an actor speak about their process and feelings about so many different situations.. oddly enough situations I've always wondered about. This was great. What an interesting person, both of them really, and I gotta hand it to him with the selection of great questions. Anyway, Cheers

This interview was maybe one of the best I've ever seen in terms of candidness. So natural, really felt like they were just having a drink at a bar with no cameras. Toni is so amazing. Really loved a lot of what she had to say about life and being human in this.
@yomega695 жыл бұрын
Her acting is soooo fucking transcendent. She is honest, present, and specific. Like her big monologues (support group, dinner scene) are so excellently executed. The minutia of humanity in her work is beautiful, she's a gift. She doesn't need the big awards but my god she deserves them.

Just saw the movie today and she was, unsurprisingly, great in it. I've been a fan since I saw her in The Sixth Sense way back in 1999; I'm an American and she totally disappeared into that role to the point that she's nearly unrecognizable. Loved her alongside Rachel Griffiths in Muriel's Wedding as well. She is a great actress and seems like a down-to-earth woman.

I think among all the different English accents like American, Britts & Aussies, American accent is perhaps the easiest to mimic. English & Aussie actors can easily act with perfect American accent but whenever American artists try other English accents, you can easily tell the fakeness of it.
@DsRelaxingSounds6 жыл бұрын
Agreed. American is the easiest accent, to understand as well. Speaking as a non-native.
@isabellaoliveira20286 жыл бұрын
I blame Hollywood and the music industry. North American accent is everywhere. It's easier to understand and to speak to. Sometimes I have to put subtitles on to understand some British accents.
@kruksog3 жыл бұрын
First, before you assume that I think you're from the uk, I don't. I assume you're from a nation imperialised by the uk. So, having said that: The American accent is "easiest" (and I put that in quotes, because I'd love to hear your "attempt" at an Appalachian accent or a Pennsylvania dutch accent (in fact should you choose to reply, please link a video of said accents so I can judge you on your accuracy)) because of the oppressive presence of America in all modern media. Don't doubt me, I hate us too, but the fact is, you have to hear our talk from day one of your life, whereas we hear y'all talk maybe three times a year... at most... maybe.) I wouldn't be such a dick about it if I didn't have to always hear about "how easy it is to act like an American" when we're a disparate nation of unrelated people mushed together by capitalist, nationalist bullshit. If I painted you with as flat of a brush as you painted us (which would be utterly easy given Brexit, what's happening currently in Australia, and other histories of abhorrent imperialism) you'd be pissed too. I am not pro America. I am American though.

I love the access this channel has to the actors and the casual 30 min chat structure of the interviews, but sorry, the interviewer’s a bit of a pretentious dork who continuously asks some of the most cliched , bs,questions (“ do you like a director who leaves you alone or a director who likes to work closely with you or whatever?”)..or his questions make no sense..( every interview I’ve seen on this channel his subjects are always asking what his questions mean.. he frames a lot of his questions badly).. and he interrupts his subjects with often preconceived ideas about what their answer should be...good channel , good format but get an interviewer who knows how to interview

1:38 What tv show gig was the worst job of her life? It can't be United States of Tara!!!
@MrBeastknows6 жыл бұрын
Just because a show is good, doesn't mean the experience of making it is. Sometimes it only takes a couple people like producers or the director to be toxic and make people uncomfortable and horrible.
@looney10236 жыл бұрын
That was more than 5 years ago, and she said in another interview (Watch What Happens Live) in response to "Was Tara cancelled too early?" with "YES it was fucking cancelled too early" or something to that effect, so I can't imagine her saying that unless it was a good experience. Hostages fits the 5 year window almost perfectly though :o
@MrBeastknows6 жыл бұрын
Yeah Hostages must have been the one. Hostages got cancelled within one season, with bad reviews, and the creators have extremely bad track runs with tv shows. One can't seem to have one last more than two seasons, while the other can't even get past one.
@looney10236 жыл бұрын
