@@thomasbowers1210 yeah and that needs to change. I mean comic book movies weren’t seen as Oscar contenders either but Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix have broken through that glass ceiling. A lot of these horror movies are turning into a mash up or horror and psychological thrillers and Ari Aster is a master in this combined medium. Toni Collette and Nat Wolfs brother (sorry I forgot his name the one who played the son in Hereditary) deserved a LOT more love. As did Florence Pugh in Midsommer.

I love that it focused in on the sixth sense to start. Toni grew up in a working class part of Sydney and it's nice to assess this because the fashion industry is such a toxic one that realistically brings out the worst in most involved ALL THE TIME. Anyway, Toni is the best kinda actor out there. She's always stood out to me and should have got a second oscar nom for Hereditary
