I agree with the comment about Sam and Gene Hackman . I'd never seen or heard of him until I saw Pulp Fiction and found his presence very commanding . When he said to one of the guys who had the briefcase near the beginning of the movie " Oh , I'm sorry ,did I break your concentration " . I found that while he didn't say it loudly or angrily, it came across as totally menacing and it made me think you wouldn't want to mess with this guy .

+Andreas Nordvall That's why he wanted a purple lightsaber, so he could pick himself out in the "dense" crowded shots of the big arena fight and stuff like that, lol. Him asking Lucas for that is the only reason we have more colors for lightsabers than just blue, green, and red. That was the start of having anything different, that day on set.

+ashkuigp But like any other human being would do with a stranger they have to talk to. It takes time to get open. This is what's I like about this interviewer, whether you like his interviews or not, they are "human" and he gives the opportunity to the interviewees to go (or not) with the flow if they enjoy the conversation.

+Volodia Arnaud the first interview with him it starts with 'this will be just like a conversation' and Sam says 'yeah, right.' At the end he says 'Hey, that was like a conversation!' Good example of what these guys usually have to put up with all day on a press tour compared to DP/30.

I really wish he'd have kept asking him questions on directorial decisions. Louder, softer, faster, slower seems like a fantastic philosophy that I haven't considered yet. Of course the directors/casters hire you for a reason. I never, ever looked at it this way and it sorta blew my mind, it's so simple!

I wonder how much they paid this guy to do those stupid corny dumb capitol one bank commercials ? He is a great actor yet those commercial tarnish his image, QT lost respect for Matrix due to the stupid sequels. His body of work means a lot to him. This guy has a great body of work then does capitol one commercials and saturate the market with them. Wonder what the sell out amount was?
