Thanks for the video! I noticed remote functionality documentation was lacking. I have one question, can any dp48s in the chain be used as a master to control others, or is it only the first one?

I notice on your FOH dp48 it has two connectors attached in the rear of the unit one is attached to board I understand. Where is the other connector going.

It goes to the first on state DP48. The communication to them is a daisy chain. In to the first unit, out to the next unit, and down the chain.

Are you able to send more than 16 channels to the DP48 with the wing? Not sure if I should get the P16s or the DP48 if I can send more than 16 channels might as well get the DP48

Yes you can send up to 48 signals of audio to the DP48. Then you can use those 48 channels in your 12 groups. You could put all the drums in one group, Vocals in one, etc.

Do you know if there is a way to make the DP48s to follow the mute on the wing? My band keeps complaining that they can hear the pastor but he’s muted on the board and I can’t find anything on making the dp48 post fader

They should be able to turn him down themselves. I doubt there’s a tap point to follow the mute from the Wing, outside of routing a bus to the DP48 with the channels you want to control from the Wing.

Would you use a DP48 as a live streaming audio mixer?
@__JAG__3 жыл бұрын
I personally would not. The majority of the signals are raw, with no processing.

When selecting the unit you are adjusting are you able to hear what they are hearing too?
@silentverdict3 жыл бұрын
Yes, if you are in "master mode" you can listen in on what they hear. He's also getting a send of every channel back in his sources so he can monitor there as well
@Littlecone3 жыл бұрын
@@silentverdict so how do you determine if you are hearing Mix A or Mix B on a module while in master mode?
@WhisperItLoud3 жыл бұрын
@@Littlecone Would depend on which headphone jack you were plugged into in the back of the device.
