Meanwhile, I can even put my main dps in the 2nd or 3rd slot. 😂 It is easy to accidentally switch to the wrong character on mobile so the 1st (top) and 4th slot (bottom) is reserved for frequently switched characters where orders are done in 1 > 2 or 4 > 3.

I guess you can look at this as Gaming with Xianyun support, or alternately, you can look at it as a Xianyun team with Gaming filling the "Faruzan" role... a four star that requires C6 so the five star can function. Just the inverse from the norm, in regards to which roles the five and four star fill. Gaming is a niche DPS four star for Xianyun. I wonder if we'll see more of this for future five star niche-role supports. Will they also get a four star DPS that can perform at five star levels if teamed with that specific support and C6?

He's not as strong if not with Xianyun yeah or Bennett, but he can still do a lot of damage with just an hydro in the team. Not 5* level, but clearly usable and above average even then, so good to use for general player.

There is a specific rotation on Gaming that allows you to dish out 7 E plunges. Last one wont be buffed tho, but to do that, you need to wait for a short time after using burst, then go into the air, and wait for lion to catch up with you while you're in the air, then your CD will restore while in the air and landing will summon lion, so you can repeat that around 5 times, and on 5th you will have cooldown off, and landing will summon lion which results in 2 more plunges. And its pretty easy to do while it also makes up more room for hydro application

I've had a team idea for Gaming where you use his powerful no icd Pyro Plunge on a Dendro and Cryo aura to get a big forward melt AND apply burning so you can forward vaporize right after. I NEED GAMING TO DO THIS!! I've tried Gaming Furina Baizhu Rosaria, but Furina's inconsistent application makes it very difficult. I think we need someone exactly like rosaria, but applies 2u of Cryo instead for this forward VapeMelt team to work

I love to play to catch the lion in the air (i think gaming was designed for that) that way i have 7-8 skills per rotation instead the 5 you said... The trick is start with ulti, and pick all the lions after the skill but before the plunge 💪 If you lose any lion between the skill and the plunge the combo stops and then should start doing plunges between skills (if bennett c6)

Hu Tao may be more mobile, but I love the gameplay of Gaming. Considering a four star, even at c6, can compete with a top tier DPS that is from the 'old era' of Genshin characters where they were stupidly strong (Ganyu for example) I see that as a win. May not be as good or efficient, but its neat to me and fun to play.

Hes definitely good for a 4 star, but ive thouroughly tested them on test server, and gaming doesnt even come remotely close to hu tao in terms of dps, even if you compare his c6 to her c0. You can thank her EM scaling and internal vape CD for that. Shes insane if you play her correctly.

I want to ask about Gaming's c6. Crit value is nice, but it also says that the aoe of his special plunging attacks increases. Does anyone have specific numbers? Does his aoe become twice bigger at c6? Less? Or more? I couldn't find a good video that would answer this question. All c0 vs c6 showcases include bosses, not multitarget scenarios. And the range increase can only be seen when there are several enemies nearby.

My experience with Gaming has been great so far and I only have him at c2 while using Mailed Flower. Tho, I really recommend him with c6 bennett and on vaporize team, because it really helps his damage. If you upgrade his normals, even when you're not plunging, his normals deals a lot too.

If you have Bennet C6 even C0 Diluc can be better than Gaming C6 because you don't need to build any ER on Diluc, just spam plunges. You should also animation cancel your Diluc plunges with a quick dash to maximise it. Without Bennet C6 even a C6 Diluc could have a hard time keeping up with Gaming. Diluc's cons just don't make that much difference

I really have to disagree that he needs constellations, mine is currently C2 and has no energy issues while only having 120% ER. And you very much can vape both his normal and skill plunges if you wait a tiny bit to do a high plunge. It takes a bit to get the timing right but if you do it his perfomance increases a lot

I just watched a video on the struggle to pull specific 4 stars. Getting C6 Gaming would result in you more than likely getting a C2 of certain 5 stars. However, due to the how some 5 stars pop off even more at around C2, spending primos so aimlessly on 5 stars is the worst thing ever. If you wanted a certain 5 star and REALLY REALLy want to vertical invest in some 5 stars, it should be because of that. Not because you want to try out a C6 4 star that has less odds of you getting than possibly a 5 star. Unless you absolutely love Gaming's playstyle and have no intention of tossing him away the moment a character like Arlechinno or Murata come out. Even if your a whale.

IMO the biggest "winners" from having Cloud Retainer are Hu Tao C0 players. I never liked playing with Hu Tao because of her annoying jump-cancel to be played at C0, and I didn't feel good about investing to get her to C1, so I just left her aside... until Cloud Retainer, now it does feel somewhat nice and smooth to jump-cancel with Hu Tao.

That just casual peeps talking. Outside Internat or being used as a vape support for Yelan/Neuv, Xiangling hasn't been Hu Tao's peer since Yelan. Tho there are niche situation were standard national can have a shot like last abyss. Navia and Lyney gave Xiangling new life but their team formation using her over Furina and Chevreuse/Klee are also worse after investment. Gaming's team lack the clear time speed that Hu Tao/Xiangling and other Pyro dps have. When your best team is with Furina and Xianyun, your clear time will always be negatively affected. Xiao is having the same issue. Not like Hu Tao doesn't have concurrence , Lyney is right there and imo better already. It just the comparison is just wrong. Feels like the whole Hu Tao vs Xiangling debate made people miss the other Pyro dps catching up.

At that point just have sucrose to hold the PA for you and you can even swirl hydro for vv not sure about swirling pyro but yelan and Furina will get a huge damage boost from vv while nahida in this team would mess up hutao vapes by stealing hydro aura.

you just said that gaming can work in melt which is something hutao cannot do so he's not limited in options i'd say hutao is linked to one of the 3 XQs gaming is linked to bennet and his circle he's more restrictive in that sense but yeah if you have xianyun i think hutao is better cuz she has more HP than gaming and can tank more hits while more or less clearing around the same time personally i think his melt team is the best cuz he can already plunge with his skill so kazuha's grouping kinda alleviates him ungrouping enemies doing melt set ups is not for everyone i know so the vape team with furina does feel easier to play and do damage with and i personally would recommend it if you have it

Hes definitely good for a 4 star, but ive thouroughly tested them on test server, and gaming doesnt even come remotely close to hu tao in terms of dps, even if you compare his c6 to her c0. You can thank her EM scaling and internal vape CD for that. Shes insane if you play her correctly.

@MojtaAS yes Hu tao can scale off of em. Any character can benefit from a specific stat scales off of that stat, especially if said characters internal vape CD is almost 0 which increases that scaling even more, also no bias here as these are facts

@@MojtaAS Scaling in genshin impact is a concept, its an idea that has been fabricated by the genshin community so in essence, scaling when it comes to this game is a blanket statement, which means scaling means the total of dps increase in this game. The correct use of words is "x" stat increase said characters damage. Any damage increase is going to "scale" a characters damage. Now if gaming wasnt so limited, I would absolutely like to play him on a team. Maybe if more characters come out that he can work with. Otherwise I have c6 r5 hu tao, so no matter how I built my gaming and get his c6 r5, he will never do as much dmg as my hu tao. But hes a 4 star, I dont expect him to lol

C4 Xiangling is a beast. If you're looking for power level, great get. If you just want to experiment with characters, you can snag a copy of Gaming, but my guess is at C0 you probably wont use him as much. I personally think Gaming is really really fun, but C4 Xiangling is better account value. Btw, Xiangling is available in the shop, but won't be in the shop again until July. (She was just in it in January). Tldr, C4Xiangling=power/account value, Gaming=experimental fun

Vape Xiao w/ Furina, Bennett & Xianyun - Saw 120k-190k Vape Plunge - Swirling Pyro extended the rotation (Bennett E > Xianyun M1) - Clear time was around 40-50s ish - Plunges felt smooth since Xiao is unique on the short Plunge animation (Iirc) 4. Xiao Hyper w/ Faruzan, Furina & Xianyun - 90-120k Plunges - Felt great to play since no more Circle Impact - Can afford lower ER stat since Triple Anemo - Furina stacks are easier to max out - Clear time was competitive to Vape Xiao at around 40-50s Tbh all the teams are all super competitive with each other in terms of clear time. Vape Xiao & Xianyun Hyper was quite fun to play since it defies the regular norm (LMAO). Yoimiya isn't that low in terms of DPS. Pre-Furina he had her at 64k thought that was with 18s rotation. Her DPS is competitive with non top tier DPS, anywhere between 60k-70k Her issue is being single target locked and having useless burst. Which drop her another tier. Without that issue, she's easily comparable to Wanderer, Klee, Keqing post dendro, Diluc post Xianyun, Yae, Raiden etc... But because of that she's more around Wrio, Cyno. Still better than Itto and Eula.

Cause 1) Lyney is a charged attack DPS which takes sh*tty amount of time for everyone except tighnari 2) he got heizo's problem, the bombs are there but his E is in a 3 years long cool down. In maximum practical situation except in a 1 target situation, Hutao frets better. Lyney's father would definitely be stronger than Lyney. So arlechino might be the one to overtake Hutao for good
