About tithing, Abel is right. Now Christians live by love and not by law. Death of Christ on the cross nailed all laws to the cross. Tithing does not work for anybody- it is not a good luck charm-God is good to all of humanity- good and bad- even your neighbor that does not tithe is doing financially better than you- please relax- tithing has been abolished through Christ’s finished work - as he declared “it is finished” the temple curtain was ripped into 2 to end the priesthood era. Without an existing priesthood order you cannot practice tithing -as there are no levites to receive it- there is no existing levites in the world- the tribe has gone into extinction. Please what we should be looking for is any evidence at all right from the Acts of Apostles to the Book of Revelations to support the payment of tithes. I am past fourth generation from my great great granfathers who paid Tithes and yet still wallow financial doldrums. Let Pastor Ashimolowo read James 1:19-25 .......Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and receive with meekness the engrafted word of God which able to save his soul.(The word that Dr.Damina is teaching which truth) Otherwise, Ashimolowo will keep exposing his absolete knowledge of manipulation. To whom does he himself pay tithe to? He talks about his household...they all pay to him in esssence. Melchizedek only came in the scriptures to signify the change in priesthood, nothing else. The entire scriptures ONLY points to Jesus and his Salvation plan. To better understand the Bible, you must know that every word is the Bible, be it in the Old or New Testament, traces itself to Christ. That is why some of the questions about other circular things cannot be found answered in the Bible. When Malachi 3 had played it's role to point to Abraham's act to Melchizedek as a sign that priesthood has changed to those who beleived the law of Moses, Christ the priest in the order of Melchizedek, meaning... not in the order of Levi, fulfilled that scripture. Then Hebrews shows us, the new priesthood, that the law of Moses was fulfilled and has been changed into a new covenant which we are a part of. Ignorance has dealt with a lot of people. The poorest individuals in this world are those who kill themselfs in tithing, hoping for what God did not promise. Hustle hard, give genourously and hold on to salvation which was freely given to ALL, and you will be doing yourself a great favor. If you don't believe it, then keep on labeling your giving as tithes. However you even came up with the true 1/10th, only heaven knows. People be out here fooling themselves while their pastors be riding private jets. This world is evil.
