I appreciate hearing about Pope Benedict, but I was really hoping to hear about the book, which I am now reading. I think Pope Benedict would have much preferred you had talked about the book than about him.

I agree snowy1634. This Dr Walker should have talked only about the book and the book only. Most of us already know how Saintly and great Pope Benedict xvi is, so it did not help to have some professor give his opinions mostly, of Pope Benedict. We all are grateful for having had such a great Holy person like this pope guiding the church and know again how this pope is. So, maybe they can have Dr. walker come back for a part ii but to save his opinions about who Pope Benedict is (which we know is a great man) to himself and rather just talk about what Pope Benedict says in each chapter of the book for example or just focused only on the contents of the book and hearing about the book and book only. Thank you Pope Benedict XVI.. God bless you. Blessed Mother and Saint Michael pray for us.

Was this interview really conducted on the day Before Benedict’s death?

The interview was conducted (as they say at 1:00) on the first day of the Year of Faith, which was declared on 11 October 2012. It was published on KZbin ten years later - on 30 December 2022. Note that the interview took place during Benedict XVI papacy.

I respect, honor, Emiritus Pope Benedict XVI but relinquishing the throne of St. PETER in the mist liberal cardinals including Jorge Bergolio is like leaving the flocks to the ravishing wolves whom he asked us to pray least he might not flee from. Yet he fled from ; and left us with those wolves. This breaks my heart.
