I swiped a couple of these from my cousin's property around New Year's near Bogalusa, LA. At least I'm almost certain that's what these are. They were unpalatably bitter, yet smelled just like an orange. She has one of these that is unpruned with plenty of the fruits littering the ground . Being they were falling, I assumed they were ripe. I'm currently in the process of germinating the seeds in an incubator inside a green house tent, but they've only been in for 2 full days. You mentioned that they can remain on the tree until March, so I have to ask being I took them, what I'm guessing, is 'too early': Are the seeds I obtained even viable?
