As someone with chronic illnesses and chronic pain, I find it so interesting that he specialized in pain management! Super interesting hearing more about that side of his story 😊 I'd be interested in hearing more about his take on cannabis too since it's one of the main things as a Canadian that helps me control nerve pain, compared to gabapentin etc that I've tried so far 😅 This was a super interesting video!!

Great interview, Sean. Another gem of a video that can only be found on your channel. A teeny feedback if you don't mind-- maybe you [ or your camera person] were trying to capture a 360 degree view of Doc Block's garden backdrop, but the panning @5:03min made me dizzy for some reason. May I suggest a tripod stand for the longer interviews like this where the interviewee is seated and stationary.

You've probably talked about this before, but I can't remember.. do you water with tap water or rain water yourself? And if it's tap water, do you do anything to lower the pH or is everything growing fine with tap water? It would certainly be a whole extra step for me to measure, drip a pH lowering fluid, measure again every time.. But if it would improve plant health it's certainly something to consider for me
@onlyplantsКүн бұрын
I water with tap water. But every city’s tap water can differ greatly from another. I havent actually measured my pH before

Hi Sean. Who is artist playing the music and do you know the name of it? Really like it
@smithmen20 сағат бұрын
this did not seem, to me, to be your typical style of interview and tour. it lacked the normal 'conversational' aspect of your interviews. would have loved to hear you ask doc questions about his breeding and selling program -- specifically, why he chose to flood the market with Michelles through a big box store, which led previous collector's plants to effectively depreciate overnight. this was a major rollout in USA home depot's and a lot of collectors have thoughts one way or another. also, he wants to reverse breed cannabis to its "glory days' of less THC -- but its not clear why -- in contrast, he chose to selectively breed anthurium to obtain one that would have taken evolution much longer to achieve. again, the highest respect for sean and I love your content, but it seemed your voice was lost in this one.

hybridiser. As I said, it is proved that I don't care about plants.
@JamesORyan-q5r5 сағат бұрын
Yes, ofcourse, but it is proven*, counter to intuition that all contingent culture is psychosis. Contingent culture varies without restriction by objective information; I don't care about plants. If we know this and we want to think about conservation subject to this proof then deep problems arise. * the compound mind is the mind. We may not be able ever to know inside reason what we are and what we do, but since paradox is - if we refuse the falsification of data - then all routes into the problem of understanding what the mind is doing are valid subject to criticism even if they lead to contradictory conclusions. It IS proved. The contradictions, the describable paradoxical relationship between conclusions and the unreachability of INDESCRABABLE paradox are beautiful dissonance. Still it is a just a game since no reasonable man can expect what we think is to really BE what is. A game, but my game is better than yours.
