Hey. Good information! I have the lifepro brand. Does the hypervibe shake side to side?

Hyper vibe machines, also known as vibration platforms or whole-body vibration machines, have been marketed as a way to aid weight loss. However, the scientific evidence supporting their effectiveness for weight loss is limited and inconclusive. The theory behind vibration machines is that the rapid vibrations cause your muscles to contract and relax multiple times per second, leading to increased muscle activity and calorie expenditure. Some studies have indeed shown that vibration training can improve muscle strength and power. However, the idea that these machines can directly lead to significant weight loss is not well-supported by scientific research. A systematic review published in 2012 in the journal Obesity Reviews analyzed several studies on the effects of vibration training on body weight and body composition. The review concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support the effectiveness of vibration machines for weight loss. Other studies have also found no significant difference in weight loss between groups using vibration machines and those who did not. It's important to note that weight loss primarily occurs through a combination of a calorie deficit (consuming fewer calories than you burn) and regular physical activity. While vibration machines may provide some benefits in terms of muscle activation and strength, they should not be relied upon as a sole method for weight loss. If you're looking to lose weight, it's generally recommended to focus on a well-rounded approach that includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, and lifestyle changes. Consulting with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian can provide personalized guidance and support for your weight loss goals.

Does this count as cardio? I have been sitting at a desk for 25 years. I need cardio, flexibility and strength. How can this help me with these goals?

Hello! Whole body vibe is great for anyone sitting at a desk for too many days /weeks/years. You can get your heart rate pumping by just moving, so yes it is a form of cardio and can be maximized to increase heart rate and break a sweat within a 10 minute period! but this is not a replacement for walking, running, biking, Etc.... variation is key for maximum cardiovascular health and total body Improvement!

how do you protect your brain from rattling too much?

Bend your knees, raise your heels, learn how to absorb shock.... As you "loosen up" - you will learn how to direct the vibration to every sticky spot in your body.
